Bazan Dalat Hotel in Dalat

Beautiful Hotel Saigon 3 needs a lot of help. I stayed in the only room with a balcony, #101.

The table lamp was missing a light bulb. They did replace the lamp on day 2.
The small refrigerator didn't work. They said that they would fix it, and failed to do so for 3 nights.

I paid for 4 nights and left after 3 nights. I couldn't wait to leave, even though I knew that there would be no refund.

The location is ok for frequent visits to Bui Vein Walking Street, however this small alley can be noisy up to 3 am. I'm not sensitive to noise at night, but it may affect you. I was on the lowest floor, and the room is well insulated, so it wasn't too bad.

The front desk gentleman was very nice, but I cannot recommend this hotel.

Bad Management.

I booked a basic room on Agoda, over the new year holiday. When I arrived to check in, I was informed that my room had been given to another guest, who opted to extend their stay prior to my arrival (this was approved by management, knowing I had the room booked, this was a conscious decision). I was not notified by the property prior to check-in that my room would be unavailable. I was then offered a different room for approximately double the price of my original booking. After long conversations with the receptionist, who was frequently on the phone with the manager, I decided to take the room for double the price (manager requested I cancel the booking myself on Agoda, major red flag). I was in the room for about 2 minutes, when the receptionist came back to inform me that the manager needed me to switch rooms, because the one I was given was a more expensive price. (None of this was my fault, and zero discount or accountability was taken by the manager for me not having my original booked room). I was then taken to a different room that had a view of a wall out the window, for double the price of my original booking, to which I declined. The receptionist was very apologetic, and helpful to me throughout the entire process, as all of this was out of her hands.

I recommend that if you choose to stay in this hotel, to not book online. They will not honor online bookings, and will try to upsell you to higher class rooms for more money. This was my experience.

I can only speak about the bar service.
We came in for a celebration cocktail and we were ignored for 15mins.
Cocktails were overpriced and just ok.
So many better places to spend your money

DO NOT BOOK HERE ONLINE. We arrived with a booking and were told that all the rooms were taken. The front desk clerk said that they purposely overbook weekends to make sure they are full. We got stuck with no rooms for the night even though they could see our booking online. We were also informed if you don't arrive before 6 pm they give the booking away.
