We were very pleasantly surprised with ACE Hotel. Our room was quiet, clean and contemporary. Looked like a pretty fresh remodel. The bathroom was very nice...all tiled with a nice big shower that, unlike many Asian hotels, doesn't leave you walking around in puddles all over the floor after you clean up. A/C looked new and kept the room nice and cool. Two bottles of complementary water, hot water kettle, and two packs of Caphe Sua for the coffee (packet) lover. There's a quaint little breakfast kitchen on the 9th floor--two very sweet ladies running it. Breakfast is from 7-10am (decent hours). I recommend getting there at 7 so your not rubbing too many elbows with the limited space. My girlfriend and I got there at 7 and had about 15 minutes all to ourselves before folks started pouring in. Breakfast is basic (rotated every day, so the menu varies a bit). lt'll get you going and it has a nice view of the city. I've been to zillions of hotels all over Asia, some good and some not so much. This was been one of my more positive experiences, so we fully recommend ACE Hotel.

A good place for a budget hotel. Much better than my expectations. Nice bed, nice and clean toilet. Very convenient to go around the city.

This hotel is such a wonderful 1st experience they are so nice! They always clean your room on time and provide with anything you need! Will always come here when I'm back for vacation. I would give them 10 stars but they only have 5 :)
Horrible hotel. I arrived at 6pm after confirming one day before when I will arrive. First sentence, sorry Sir we don't have your room. Do you want to upgrade? I said no and then he told me ok you will get 1 day a bigger room then you have to move. I accepted but thought oh man why are you overbooking your hotel and why do I have to move on the next day into another room. Rooms are also very small and bad. Breakfast is a joke. Take another hotel there are plenty and I would suggest to go 4 Stars in Vietnam to get a Thai / Europe standard.
Its a nice hotel in the middle of the city, near ben thanh market and other tourist spots. The receptionist will always greet you with a smile and are very helpful. The server in the cafeteria though was not that friendly. Bed, towels and sheets are all clean, complete set of toiletries and a warm shower.
