I forgot to take pictures, but I arrived late at night. A girl was at the reception downstairs, and her dad was also there when I checked in. After checking in, I went downstairs to buy a drink, and her dad used a translator to tell me how excellent his daughter was, that she'd been to university and was working there, and he wanted to introduce her to me. I told him I already had a partner. He then tried to get me to go for a drink, but unfortunately, I had a 7 AM flight to catch, so I politely declined.

This is a good place if you need HCMC Airport for departure or for some rest after arrival. Terminal 2 is 15 mins on foot.

Since my flight was late at night, I decided to spend the time until departure at this hotel, which was a 20-minute walk away. I took a shower and explored the nearby area a bit. The room had an old-fashioned feel, like something from the Showa era, but the bedding was clean. The duvet reminded me a bit of something you'd find at grandma's house, but given the hot country, it wasn't an issue. What I did notice was a very strong scent of fabric softener or detergent; people sensitive to strong smells might find it a bit overpowering. There's also a refrigerator. Walking to the airport from the hotel is doable, but it's true that the area around the airport can be deserted and a bit unnerving.

The hotel is small and pretty local styled, but affordable for a layover stay for a few hours. There is no water in the room. The receptionist only hands out to you one bottle of water at the check-in counter and that’s all. If you want more water, you have to buy it from the vending machine next to reception area. Room is spacious enough. The bed is alright, but I felt a little itchy when sleeping on it. The bathroom is old and there are some rusty parts, but it’s clean and doesn’t have any bad odor.
Oh, wifi doesn’t work though.

Good for staying after/before flight. Airport is about 1 km from hotel. But:
- dirty of hotel is on attached photo
- you will sleep under the blanket without blanket cover

A perfect city getaway. The room was modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious. Staff went above and beyond to assist us. Prime location, steps from public transport and great restaurants. Exceptional value. Would book again without hesitation.
