.room.is spacious and clean. Price is reasonable
The occasion was our second anniversary, they gave us the corner room and it was a fantastic view. We absolutely loved the breakfast and they do special coffees on request. We will definitely come back again.
I arrived at the hotel at 9:30 AM, and the bellboy, a friendly 'little胖哥' (chubby guy), greeted me very warmly, which made a great first impression. However, the front desk service was extremely unsatisfactory.
I explicitly stated that I did not want a room with the number '4'. The front desk staff then directly used a translator to tell me that the hotel was 'fully booked' and only had rooms with '4' or corner rooms, or I could upgrade for an additional 1100. I found this unacceptable, and she didn't offer any other solutions. When I even suggested canceling my reservation, she replied, 'You can't cancel.' Throughout this, no manager came out to address the issue.
I had no choice but to contact Trip.com and waited for a full 90 minutes. Only then did the front desk suddenly announce, 'We have a room that doesn't have a '4' in it,' asking me to make a decision. But by then, I was already waiting for Trip.com to handle it.
Eventually, I checked in as per Trip.com's suggestion, but more problems arose after checking in:
* The curtains wouldn't close properly.
* The carpet looked dirty.
* The floor tiles felt sticky underfoot.
* There were obvious water stains, soap residue, and even hair in the shower glass.
For a five-star hotel, both the room cleanliness and service attitude were far below standard. The entire check-in experience was very disappointing, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously and makes improvements.
