Great location! The hotel even offers complimentary beer and snacks. The rooftop terrace has a fantastic vibe, and the pool boasts amazing views. It's perfect for friends and families traveling together, and super convenient for visiting all the attractions in Ho Chi Minh City.

The staff only care about tips. The hotel offers free foot massages at its spa, but they were unwilling to arrange it. While I was getting another treatment, I left my bag in the room. When I went to get money for the massage, I counted it and left the remaining cash in the room. When I returned, I found someone had entered my room and some money was missing. When I asked the hotel manager, they simply said they provide a safe, so they're not responsible for any lost items. I advise fellow Chinese travelers to avoid this place.

Excellent location and great value for money. The breakfast was really good! I loved this hotel; it's close to everything, and you can walk to many places. The service was also excellent; they even offered complimentary dinner and a massage.

Overall pleasant stay. Good service. Nice room n spacious to accommodate 3 of us. Breakfast range average. However the toilet shower inconvenient for elderly or with children. The hotel too is elevated.. so need few steps before reaching lobby

Very convenient location next to big market and metro station.
The personnel was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast i would say enjoyable with not too mamy vegan options.
Room comfortable with aircon and all the amenities you would expect adding here a small table for ironing clothes + iron + hair dryer.

Second stay at Alagon Hotel. Good location. Short walk away from Ben Thanh Market. Many food selections around the hotel as well. Hotel is slightly dated but they make it up with excellent service and hospitality. Breakfast is great. Highly recommended.

That my second time staying there . I like the location in district 1 . Near my hotel the a lot Michelin restaurants . I like the breakfast at the restaurant more choice and taste are good. The stuff friendly and helpful

When I arrived, there was road construction right outside the hotel, which made the area feel quite dirty and chaotic. There were also quite a few Indian guests staying at the hotel. At check-in, they required a 1 million VND deposit. I inquired about paying with a credit card, but the front desk staff reluctantly told me that if I did, the refund would only be processed after 45 days. I was quite frustrated by this.

One of the worst possible hotel that I ever saw in my life. Horrible staff... Very uncourteous. It seems all they are interested is, in the wallet of customers without taking care of the needs. Very pushy staff. Hotel itself have crampy rooms and no air circulation. I will never ever go back there again.

We checked out after being there for an hour. We were totally okay with how old the hotel was because you get what you pay for. However friendly customer service can be accomplished free of charge.
Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with the front desk when we asked for simple directions to the spa, servers being rude, very loud staff with stuff everywhere while they setup for a wedding.
I understand business must be done but it can be done politely. We ended up checking out immediately without causing a problem at the front desk and even paid 500k VND or $20 USD for the hour we were there.
We immediately booked an Airbnb down the road for less price but with amazing customer service, great location, solid WiFi and even free washer dryers in District 1. So my advice is to avoid this hotel and go with a solid Airbnb.
