Reviews
Check-in - Staff by the name of Kim Chi was impatient and rude. When we enquired if the room was near or away from the elevator, Kim Chi rolled her eyes and was unable to reply coherently. When we sought clarification as her reply was unclear, Kim Chi just stared back at us.
Bellhop and security - Bellhop and Security was excellent. They were professional and attentive. Service standards equivalent to a 5 star experience.
Further comments - They only provide 2 small bottles of water per day. Any extra is chargeable. There is also a price list of every item in the room should a guest break or remove an item. Aircon compressor was also noisy and could use a maintenance check.
Overall a decent experience, especially given the good location. Small enhancements in service and facilities will definitely go a long way.
The room was super spacious and comfortable, with kind of a separate living area with a sofa. While the décor and overall style are a bit dated, it didn’t detract from my comfort or enjoyment at all. The included breakfast was simple but perfectly fine for a quick morning bite and coffee before heading out for the day.
Overall, Palace Hotel offers excellent value for its location and comfort, and I’d happily stay here again on future visits to Ho Chi Minh City.
