Hotel Continental Saigon in Ho Chi Minh

Hotel is situated near Opera House and many landmarks. Breakfast has many delicious dishes. We will stay there next time.

I stayed here for a night to experience the history of the hotel. Thanks for giving me a nice corner room with a fantastic view of the opera house square. I’ll return again when I’m in HCMC.

The hotel's location is excellent, directly across from the opera house. Right outside the main entrance, there's a ticketing and boarding point for city sightseeing buses. In the same building complex, there's a large Muji and a Uniqlo store, surrounded by high-end brand shops. Most major attractions are also within walking distance. The room was very tall with a distinctive European flair. The welcome fruit consisted of a whole dragon fruit and two large bananas, all very fresh and delicious, served with cutlery and a plate – very thoughtful! We were granted a one-hour late checkout upon request. However, our request for additional bottled water was declined.

Breakfast officially ends at 9:30 AM. When I went at 9:28 AM to ask for a baguette, the chef had already put away all the pots and pans. He initially placed the entire baguette on a plate for me to take, which I refused. Only then did he find a knife to cut the bread and symbolically added some vegetable spread, looking very displeased. I hope they improve their service awareness!

Like the architecture, the details in the hotel room - high ceiling, spacious, and looks really majestic! Porters are diligent and helpful - helping with Grab booking and direction to the Ban Thanh market. Extremely friendly service staff including the chamber maids. Breakfast spread is delicious, love the beef stew. Location is directly opposite the Opera House and conveniently connected. Overall, a very memorable stay.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location! We stayed in the Opera wing. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet has something for everyone. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

It’s a palace, xcellent location in the heart of the city center and surrounded by shopping malls, very friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms

Good Breakfast : There are many to choose from.

Classic hotel with long history n classic room , youngster do not like it , Good location but traffic jam around the hotel in day n night . Still under renovation in some room for upgrading. But tv was too small for current trend of hotel or at least 55-65”

Old classy interior and great location.
High quality and lots of choice for breakfast buffet in open terrace.
As you see, the Location is great, but may be not very comfortable cause of street noise.
If you are opera-view. room have good sight from your balcony, but may be only few available (mine is opera wing room but not facing street)
Bath room is able to flush the paper.
Need to learn how to turn on the TV, cause new internet connected gadget.
Room is very spacious, and sealing is high, the A/C is a bit small, so room need time to cooling down.
If I have chance to visit, I would prefer to stay here again.
