Au Lac Charner Hotel in Ho Chi Minh

Not very clean for 4star hotel.maybe need renovation for room already outdated. But the hospitality of staff very well though. Very good location walkable to many tourist spot. The lobby very pretty decorated. Didnt try the food because had a morning flight.

This hotel is absolute worth it. The service is amazing as they greet you at the door and help bring your luggage up to your room. My room has an amazing balcony view and was super spacious. The rooftop pool is beautiful and offers one of the best views of the city and the complimentary afternoon tea is delicious.

The staff here were amazing. When we arrived our air conditioning wasnt working so they upgraded us to the penthouse for a nigh with the option to stay the whole stay there. We ended up moving to our original room the next night as we wanted the balcony room so we could smoke on the balcony.

The staff were amazing from the time we got there, to the time we left. The rooms were clean and spacious. Will 100% stay again.

Pool area was lovely...We also had a foot/leg massage for an hour and it was amazing.

Also if you love a bidet, they have them in all the rooms.

Location, there are plenty of food and coffee shops a minute or 2 walk away, aswell as a convenience store a couple of meters away.

The walk to the markets was also short.

Room， front desk， food are excellenl， but the massage in 11/F is not good. The massage staff requires tips at the end, but they not too much focus on massage during the session. Will try other option for massage next.

It’s nice and cozy design hotel with the great color combination. It can be better by provide more breakfast option and high tea choices to look more grand.

The staff were so friendly and would do anything for you. The hotel is very clean and the buffet breakfast is large and a good variety of foods. The complimentary afternoon tea was nice. The rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable.  I also got a pedicure at the salon there and it was very relaxing and quick.  I really enjoyed staying at the Au Lac Charner.

Centrally located and safe for solo female traveller. Overall the property is alittle aged with wear and tear but rooms are clean, staff friendly, wifi works well. There’s even free breakfast and afternoon tea provided in my package. An excellent deal.

Hotel location is superb. Not too far from the airport. Plenty of eats and drinks surrounding it

Au Lac Charner is well situated for shopping and nightlife. There are several mini marts within a minutes walk. And so many dining options.

However, it is the staff and the amenities that truly made our stay well above average.

From front desk, the impeccable doormen and restaurant staff, our stay was wonderful.

We had a balcony room. I would suggest asking for a higher floor, as we looked into a car park.

Our room was spotless. Our cleaner was the most lovely and thorough man. He did a turn down service around 2pm to freshen the room.

Au Lac have luggage scales that were brought by staff to our room so we could sort out what we could take for a domestic flight. They stored our extra luggage until our return.

Water is not rationed. Or charged if you want more. And the room service we had a few times was excellent. I recommend the shaking beef noodles.

Breakfast is basic but tasty and changes daily. I will be staying here in future. I included a pic of a little outdoor area of the dining room that was quiet and secluded from the main breakfast area.
