Emerald Bay Hotel & Spa in Nha Trang

The room description needs to be corrected because it stated there were 'one or more non-opening windows,' but in reality, there are no windows at all – just a fake window facade and a solid wall. This is quite uncomfortable as you lose all sense of time. There are no windows on the floor either. You have to go down to the first floor or up to the 27th/28th floor where the pool and smoking area are located. The pool isn't heated, and the water is cold; one dip was enough for us not to use it again, plus it's not very big. The soundproofing in the rooms is terrible – it feels like there are no doors at all, and you can hear the neighbors clearly. Three elevators for guests are generally enough; we didn't have to wait long. Breakfasts are good, with a large selection and everything is tasty. Breakfast is served until 10 AM, not 9:30 AM as stated in the description. There are sun loungers provided by the hotel, but only about five of them. The staff is friendly. The only issue was that we paid a deposit upon check-in, but it was only returned after we reminded them. Be careful, we almost forgot about it ourselves! Honestly, it doesn't even feel like a 4-star hotel. I wouldn't stay here again. It's also far from the city center; we ended up walking about 20,000 steps every day because all the main attractions are located there. But we fell for the reviews and the 5-star rating for such a price, so we chose it.

Very good clean hotel with a very good breakfast in the good location

Good hotel, convenient location, only a 3-minute walk to the sea. The breakfasts were good, and the place was clean.

On the downside: there weren't enough beach towels for everyone, and the elevators were under huge pressure. I stayed on the 25th floor, and during peak hours, it could take me about 10 minutes to get downstairs.

Overall, I recommend it; I think it offers excellent value for money.

I think it’s not so good photo what I want. It’s about three days just sleep. Hotel is very old.

Excellent location. Within walking distance to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

Bed comfortable. Room cleaned every day, fresh towels, clean sheets.

Breakfast varied selection (some dishes changed varieties every morning). Room service very good, and arrived within 20 minutes of ordering.

Gym good selection of weights, treadmill, bikes, yoga mats. Fairly quiet and next to the pool (which we didn't use as cold water - i like warmth 😀)

Quick check-in and check-out (thanks to Ms Jenny and Ms Vivian). Helped with bags by a young man who's name I didn't note.

Definitely stay here again.

The location was a bit inconvenient, but everything else was fine. The room was clean, spacious, and good.
