Vinpearl Empire Nha Trang, Affiliated by Meliá in Nha Trang

Hotel is located in a good location. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast was good and had many varieties.

Room is normal size but sofa looked old. We had 1 bedroom with kitchen but it didn't have any dishes and cutlery.

Our third time staying at the hotel. Never disappoints us!

Vinpearl Empire Nha Trang by Meliá was our second hotel in Nha Trang, following our stay at Vinpearl Resort on Vinpearl Island. Overall, it offers a comfortable and convenient city stay with several strong points.

The price is reasonable for what you get, and the location is excellent — right in the heart of the city. Our deluxe room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out for a simple yet comfortable stay. Both the room and bathroom were spotless, which is always a big plus for me. The highlight, however, was the view. From the higher floors, the scenery is absolutely stunning and truly elevates the experience.

Most of the facilities are located on the 6th floor. The swimming pool is beautiful and decently sized, making it a pleasant place to relax. There is also a restaurant on the same floor, though we didn’t get the chance to try it during this stay. Families will appreciate the kids’ room with activities, which is very convenient for parents. The presence of an on-site clinic for emergencies is also reassuring.

Check-in took a little longer than expected, as the hotel was quite busy at the time. Unfortunately, the attitude of one of the concierge staff during check-in left us slightly put off. During check-out, we requested for our luggage to be brought down, but one staff member insisted that we personally follow him all the way up to retrieve it and then return to the lobby. While we understand that there may be procedures to follow, the manner in which it was communicated felt rather uncomfortable. Thankfully, another staff member quickly stepped in, kindly offering to bring our luggage down while we rested in the lobby. That gesture made a meaningful difference and was truly appreciated. I understand that hotel staff can be busy, but a gentler and more professional approach would greatly enhance the guest experience.

One additional area for improvement would be the hotel’s scent. The aroma used throughout the hotel may feel uncomfortable for some guests and comes across as rather dated. Perhaps exploring a fresher, more contemporary fragrance would better suit modern preferences.

Overall, Vinpearl Empire Nha Trang offers great value, a fantastic location, and beautiful views. With some refinements in service consistency and ambience, it could easily become an even more enjoyable stay.

I am a returning guest and have stayed at this hotel several times. Overall, the staff are kind, warm, and welcoming, especially the spa reception team, which has been one of the main reasons I continued to return.

Unfortunately, during my most recent stay, my spa experience did not meet expectations. Despite clearly communicating my preferences in advance, the treatment was uncomfortable due to excessive pressure and communication difficulties, resulting in physical discomfort rather than relaxation. While the staff were polite and well-intentioned, this experience highlighted a lack of management oversight and proper matching of therapists to guest preferences. I would like to emphasize that the therapist herself was capable and professional, and I have no doubt she has received positive feedback from other guests, however, she was simply not the right match for my personal needs. It was disappointing, as I had hoped to end my day on a calm and relaxing note.

The reception kindly offered another massage as a courtesy, which I declined. As there is currently no spa manager at the hotel, I shared my feedback with the Duty Manager, who approached me the following day to offer an apology. I appreciated this gesture, although I declined the offered gift. When an issue involves guest discomfort, genuine acknowledgment and empathy, such as checking on a guest’s well-being, can be more meaningful than gestures that may feel transactional.

While I appreciate the staff’s efforts, what has been done cannot change the experience itself. I do not feel comfortable returning to the spa, and I am uncertain about returning in the future. My feedback is not directed at any individual, but rather at the absence of clear management structure, processes, and oversight.

Excellent hotel, family loved it. Fantastic breakfast, great location, would highly recommend. Not to mention unbelievably good value.

First of all, the service is very good. All staff members are friendly and polite. The location is also convenient.

However, although it was mentioned that there is an indoor swimming pool on trip, there is actually only an outdoor pool, which was very cold and almost impossible to use, especially with kids.

Breakfast was okay, but the variety could be improved. Also, during breakfast, forks and spoons were not always replaced if they appeared unused, which was quite unpleasant. This is something that should be improved for better hygiene.

Our family stayed at Meliá for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and family-friendly.
We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this hotel to other families and travelers.

We spent 5 nights with our family. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. The pool was clean and the kids club was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day without asking. The location was very convenient, close to everything in the city center. It was a great choice for us. We had a great time. I can tell you that you won't regret choosing Melia hotel, either.

Overall, it’s acceptable — the location is very convenient, and the price is reasonable. However, the room was not clean (with leftover trash), and the soundproofing was poor, so there’s room for improvement!
