Hanoi Hotel in Nha Trang

Nice hotel with two drawbacks. The first problem is that there is no shower curtain and the bathroom is totally flooded when you shower. You then have to spend time mopping up the mess with the towels provided for bathing. The composition of the floor is very slippery so if you don't mop it up, you will slip and fall. The second issue is that the wake-up call system is totally unreliable. For two days in a row, we didn't receive our requested wake-up call. If those two problems are corrected, we would recommend this hotel.

Overall the hotel is fine. Rooms are compact but the bathrooms are modern and spacious. The hotel is very centrally located for eating, drinking, shopping and beaching.

One major let down was being forced to pay by cash at checkout. We were checking out at 6am to catch a flight, and despite being told we could pay by credit card the night earlier, on this morning we were told it was not possible. It required four members of our group to withdraw enough Dong from an ATM down the street - incurring ATM, bank and credit card fees. Not a good end to our stay.
