Sonata Resort & Spa in Phan Thiet

Absolutely fantastic stay at Sonata Resort & Spa!

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort is located in a stunning and very peaceful area right on the beach, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Vietnam. The atmosphere is calm, private, and far from the crowded tourist spots, which made our stay even more special.

The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the ocean. Waking up in the morning and hearing the sound of the waves was simply amazing.

The staff deserve a special mention – they were incredibly friendly, professional, and always smiling. They made us feel very welcome and were always ready to help with anything we needed.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious food. The restaurant also offers great dishes throughout the day, and everything we tried was very tasty.

The swimming pool area is beautiful and well maintained, and the private beach is perfect for peaceful walks or simply relaxing while watching the sunrise.

Overall, Sonata Resort & Spa offers a perfect combination of comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality. It was truly a memorable experience and we would definitely return again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this area of Vietnam. Gregory 😘😘😘

Excellent hotel. Well appointed clean accommodation and beautiful, well maintained grounds. Staff extremely welcoming and could not do enough for us. Delicious meals which were very reasonable priced. Highly recommend.

Great destination for beach lovers with a beautiful garden and lovely pool. The service‘s totally great. Rooms are nice, clean and cozy.

The hotel makes a generally good impression in the public areas. The beautiful tropical garden and the large swimming pool are particularly noteworthy. The hotel's private beach area is cleaned regularly, however, the sandy beach outside the hotel is completely littered with trash. Swimming in the sea was prohibited for almost the entire 11-night stay due to the strong waves. The resort's remote location means there are no restaurants or shops nearby. However, there is a free shuttle service several times a day, including to Coopmart. The late return times from there are inconvenient, though. From this shopping center, you can walk to parts of Phan Thiet's city center. The fishing harbor is of particular interest. Numerous derelict buildings surround the hotel. Aside from the polluted beach, there are no other places to take a walk.

Our room: In the multi-story main building with an elevator. Adequately large with a small balcony. The bathroom desperately needs a deep cleaning (the shower was scaled up, the wooden parts were rotten) and renovation; the furniture is quite old.

The quality and portion sizes vary considerably. The breakfast buffet could be improved and is predominantly Asian; the drinks offered are cheap.

Service: Everything is done quickly, and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Clients: Predominantly Russian. Very busy on weekends due to Vietnamese guests.

Summary: Due to various limitations, despite the overall positive impression, I probably wouldn't book this hotel again.

Loved this hotel. Had everything I needed and the staff were always there to help if anything was needed. Breakfast was superb, as well the choice of lunch and dinner. The beach and pool was great. There is also a hotel bus that runs into the Phan Thiet centre several times a day which was very handy. Would stay again at Sonata Hotel.

Excellent quiet calm hotel. The location is far from civilization, but we wanted just this format. The private beach is good. Breakfasts are normal, everything is delicious, there is fruit.

There is free billiards, a tennis court (for a fee) and fishing (for a fee).

The resort has a swimming pool and a beach, and it's nice to take a walk at night. The breakfast menu was also good because it had a lot of options. The room had a veranda, which was nice, but the TV and some other products were old, so that was a downside.
