Loved this hotel. Had everything I needed and the staff were always there to help if anything was needed. Breakfast was superb, as well the choice of lunch and dinner. The beach and pool was great. There is also a hotel bus that runs into the Phan Thiet centre several times a day which was very handy. Would stay again at Sonata Hotel.

Facing the sea, the hotel is upscale and elegant. The front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming, proactively helping with luggage, which was very heartwarming. The only downside is the room's age and the old-fashioned furniture; it needs some renovation. However, the current price is very reasonable, and the breakfast is plentiful. And the sunset views are beautiful!

The rooms are quite worn out, and the floors need renovation. The soundproofing between rooms seems good. However, the doors are flimsy, so noise from the hallway is clearly audible. Around midnight, the staff decided to clean the floor, which was very noisy. The view from the window is great, and the beach is nearby. Breakfast is Asian style; overall, you can find something to eat.

There is nothing really great about this hotel. Rooms are badly soundproofed. The bathroom will flood. Windows are dirty. Customer service is practically non-existent. Breakfast is truly awful. The only good thing is that the bar is pretty cheap.

Nature and Wildly but beautiful

A resort witch really needs some maintenance. The staff is friendly but English is rarely spoken. The rooms are big but old and not in a good condition. We payed 510.000 VND via Agoda. Don't pay more you'll be disappointed.

Fine resort for family/group/company trip. The rooms (villa) is spacious but furniture is not so good. The design is outdated, it has a wide glass beach view window but i think it is lack of beach view door

The price for rooms at the hotel are more than reasonable, in addition hot water is actually hot, the wi-fi is top-tier, the facilities are in good shape, some (but not all) include a mosquito zapper. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Everything is clean and comfy, and I felt like being home. However, it's quite far from the city center - you have to use the bike which can be rented from this hotel too. Worth the money.

This is one of the nicest places we stayed in Vietnam. The owner is very nice and can speak fluent English! The resort is not too big but family friendly and well maintained with full facilities. Really like their wooden decorations and homemade food, everything tastes super local! It has long and clean beach, easy to walk along, no karaoke noise. Everything was fabulous except the beach. However the beach still made for great pucturez and we had a great pool to swim.

We liked everything about the hotel. The only downside is that the sea is very dirty, it is impossible to swim. And a holiday in this hotel is only for those who love perfect silence! The Resort is isolated but very beautiful view to the sea! It is very quiet in January and you can relax 100%. Staff is very friendly. Not all speak English, but with the help of google translator we managed everything. Furniture is old and there is a need of renovation. If you want to go out of the city and enjoy the sea, then this is the right place to go.
