Inexpensive hotels in Phan Thiet

The atmosphere is calm, private, and far from the crowded tourist spots, which made our stay even more special. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the ocean

Waking up in the morning and hearing the sound of the waves was simply amazing. The staff deserve a special mention – they were incredibly friendly, professional, and always smiling

They made us feel very welcome and were always ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious food

Absolutely fantastic stay at Sonata Resort & Spa! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations

The only downside is the room's age and the old-fashioned furniture; it needs some renovation. However, the current price is very reasonable, and the breakfast is plentiful. And the sunset views are beautiful!

Facing the sea, the hotel is upscale and elegant. The front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming, proactively helping with luggage, which was very heartwarming

Around midnight, the staff decided to clean the floor, which was very noisy. The view from the window is great, and the beach is nearby. Breakfast is Asian style; overall, you can find something to eat

The rooms are quite worn out, and the floors need renovation. The soundproofing between rooms seems good. However, the doors are flimsy, so noise from the hallway is clearly audible

Room is big, service was acceptable, location is good. There's a cafe nearby within walking distance.

The place is suitable for those who want privacy. The hotel is located away from the tourist MUI ne, an isolated deserted beach, villas with swimming pool. The swimming pool is cleaned every morning

Everything was perfect. Breakfast really good, amenities also good. The only thing is that the coffee was the strongest coffee I ever had in my life

A magnificent hotel, and the location is great too. It's quiet despite the nearby construction. Everything is close by if you're traveling by car.

The environment is comfortable and the facilities are plentiful! The swimming pool is exceptionally well-maintained, making it a wonderful place to relax and play in the water

The billiards table in the game room is a delightful surprise; a friendly match with friends in the evening will bring endless laughter

The restaurant was only open in the morning but you could still order dinner ,my one thing that could do with improvement was the shower not having a screen which resulted water splashing everywhere apart from that great place

There is nothing really great about this hotel. Customer service is practically non-existent. The only good thing is that the bar is pretty cheap

We recently stayed at the Palms and found it very good value, the room was well appointed with balcony overlooking the pool area. We found the staff friendly and helpful

I agreed, but they accepted clothes on Friday and Saturday only — on Sunday they said the service wasn’t available. The air conditioner was extremely noisy at night, making it impossible to sleep

The price is high compared to the quality. There was no iron provided in the guest room. When I asked the front desk, they said ironing service was available

The grounds are beautifully decorated, featuring beautiful clay lamps, jugs, and bas-reliefs on the pool, bar, and stage. Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas are available by the pool and along the shoreline

The staff is friendly, and any issues with the room (a broken lamp in a wall lamp, or someone forgot to put coffee or tea in the coffee maker) were resolved promptly. Daily cleaning and towel changes are available

My wife and I stayed in Bungalow 107 in November 2025. We liked the hotel; it was very clean, green, and quiet. If you're looking for action, this isn't the place for you; Mui Ne is better

Since the hotel was practically unoccupied (there were only three guests when we arrived), some bungalows were undergoing renovations (noise or other negative effects whatsoever)

The rooms are large, with garden views (our second-floor room also offered views of the pool and sea). The room features sturdy wooden furniture and a large balcony

As clean as you can get. Hot shower and great location to the city centre. Breakfast buffet changes daily. FYI,  don”t your laundry here. 2 thumbs up!

There weren't many restaurants around this hotel. The sea was right in front of the hotel, so the view from the room was great. I thought the breakfast selection was a little limited.

Great hotel! We arrived and they’d given us a free upgrade. The rooms are large and clean, and the Japanese restaurant is fantastic. Staff are lovely and super helpful.

They had a glass elevator on the side which you could look out into the city, which I thought was pretty cool. The complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious. They had so many options to choose from

Good accomodation for a fair price, plus the breakfast buffet is included. Excellent location in the center, very close to coach service from SG and bike rentals.

This was our first time at this hotel. We had an issue with our bed and the staff immediately moved us to another room. This made for a very comfortable stay

They also had many beverages to choose from as well. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Phan Thiet

The hotel were very relaxing, located in the outskirts but as taxi is very cheap so it’s not a problem to go to the more ”busy evening area”

A resort witch really needs some maintenance. The staff is friendly but English is rarely spoken. The rooms are big but old and not in a good condition. Don't pay more you'll be disappointed

Nice size room and lovely pool. But restaurant was hardly open and beach was filthy

Breakfast is very bad, each person only has 1 small bowl of pho Conclusion: suitable for those who like cheap, quiet and separate space, or need an overnight stay in the middle of a long trip

Fine resort for family/group/company trip. The rooms (villa) is spacious but furniture is not so good. The design is outdated, it has a wide glass beach view window but i think it is lack of beach view door

right at the beach, but too far from civilization. no shops, no cafes restaurants. nowhere to buy a water.

When I arrived, it was full of moss like the picture, but the next morning there was a cleaning staff - Book a room with breakfast but the staff has to collect 80k more for 1 accompanying child

I don't know about anything else, but the staff and the owner were very friendly. You can also rent a bike However, one thing that was disappointing was that the air conditioner was broken and it was too hot

Other than that it was good I think I will use it again next time

Pretty nice hotel Just beware of the beverages from the lobby fridge as it doesn't seem to work properly causing it to heart the plastic rather than chill.

Quite noisy during lunch and dinner. Nice view to the beach but there is a lot trash along the shore. It will be much cleaner if you go a bit further.

I stayed for one day, booked last minute via Agoda, but they seemingly had to dig up my booking. Not a big problem, but still a point of notice. The view, as a result of the location, was FANTASTIC

The location, however, is smack dab in the middle of Phan Thiet, right next to the market and Ho Chi Minh's old school. If you're one for tourist attractions, you'll want to stay here

Used to be one of the best, now it feels a bit outdated. A bit overkill if you're just looking for a place to sleep; but it works just fine. The beds are comfy, the AC works, etc

You'd kill for an overview of Le Hong Phong bridge at night

We asked for laundry services but they tried to charge us 7 times what it would cost for us take it to an outside laundry service only a 5 minute walk from the hotel (so that is what we did)

we stayed 1 night here before moving to Mui Ne, and it was a great decicion to book the room here, the room was clean and well-organzied, i particularly like the way they decorate + organize the room, very tactful, considerate and cozy, there's coffee , tea, mineral water, electric kettle, fridge and many towels, the wardrobe was open and solid to put your clothes in, the location is convenient enough...

The bathroom was clean, the bed was a bit dusty but still acceptable and the staff were super nice and friendly, though you will need some Vietnamese friends to do the talking

The rooms are clean, the staff are very friendly, and it's close to Phan Thiet port, making it very convenient for those traveling to Phu Quy Island.

The lady who runs this hotel is so nice and friendly. You really feel like home. U can even rent a scooter there so the location is no problems. Rooms are clean and satisfying. Would visit again!

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Everything is clean and comfy, and I felt like being home. However, it's quite far from the city center - you have to use the bike which can be rented from this hotel too

This hotel at first was disappointing as nobody seemed to know where we were supposed to stay and tried to put us in the wrong room and the whole place was under construction…that being said…the staff WERE SO KIND and helpful

The owner is so helpful, nice, and friendly. Good location as you can travel convenniently both to the Phan Thiet City and the beach road.

My only qualms are that the blankets are all one size too small so if you are sharing a bed you'll end up struggling for covers all night (or if you are tall deciding which part of you stay exposed) and the lack of an elevator which normally I'd not have an issue with but with how narrow the stairwells are it feels unsafe while carrying luggage

The price for rooms at the hotel are more than reasonable, in addition hot water is actually hot, the wi-fi is top-tier, the facilities are in good shape, some (but not all) include a mosquito zapper

It's very peaceful, nice interior, very very kind staff, lovely owner with lots of travel experience and good sense of humor, delicious breakfast and also the rest on the menu is good! The beach is private and the water is great for a swim! We did some walks to Phan Thiet on the beach and the other way to the beach clubs at Movenpick hotel area

Wonderful hotel, professional staff and a very caring owner Lan who speaks fluent English. I feel at home here, it's cozy, clean and very tasty. The breakfasts are very rich with fresh juice and fruits every morning

This is the best hotel I have seen here. Quiet and peaceful, like home. The hotel is located 50 meters from the beach and there is a clean swimming pool on site. Very tasty breakfasts with fresh fruit

Really like their wooden decorations and homemade food, everything tastes super local! It has long and clean beach, easy to walk along, no karaoke noise

But the main thing is the service. You haven't even had time to ask, and the staff and the owner of the hotel are ready to help with everything

The owner is very nice and can speak fluent English! The resort is not too big but family friendly and well maintained with full facilities
