Elion Hotel in Alakhadzi

We stayed at the hotel in August 2024. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and had all the amenities, unless you're close relatives of an oligarch (there are no golden toilets). We were delighted with the pool; it was clean, the water was clear and odorless, and it was cleaned every morning. The breakfasts were delicious, with a wide variety of dishes. I'd especially like to mention the bar, where you can while away the evenings. You'll be greeted, fed, and watered, and if you're lucky, you might even hear live accordion music. The sea is a five-minute walk away, but the view of the mighty mountains from the courtyard was even more impressive. Overall, if you're not spoiled and don't enjoy baths with champagne, you'll love it. I want to say a huge thank you to all the hotel staff for a wonderful stay!

The village itself is sick, but there is not enough evening life, as in Gagra. The sea is clean, the weather is wonderful, we drove everywhere by car, Ritsa and the road to it are a delight! Abkhazia is beautiful

Rested from 6 to 12 September, with friends and families, 12 people.
We arrived at the hotel at 11.30, check-in from 14.00, but we were lucky, and out of 4 rooms, one room was ready, we moved all our things there, and changed clothes one by one. But since the room was on the 1st floor, it smelled terribly of dampness, even mold. We went to the reception and asked to change the room, we were told it might work tomorrow or today, but instead of 4 beds there will be a folding bed, we agreed, and we were given a room on the 3rd floor, the second building. And all this without additional surcharges, as it happens in Turkey.
The room is quite large, carpet on the floor, but clean, linen, towels are clean, changed every 3 days. The toilet is terribly a bit of a sewer. And interruptions in water, then cold, then boiling water, and so on in turn, for a week of rest, the water never flowed normally.
Food. We only paid for breakfast, the rest of the time the dining room did not work, only at the bar you could make an order. The breakfasts themselves are monotonous, but you definitely won’t leave hungry, and salads, and eggs, scrambled eggs, vegetables, cereals, cereals, pastries, everything is there, but the assortment is the same.
There is a large swimming pool on the territory of the hotel, they clean it, but bugs, dead wasps still swim, but the children liked to splash around there. The pool is half sun, the water is warm.
On the common terraces, there are dryers.
Bar prices are quite adequate, the markup is not big, ice cream 30r, beer 100r, wine 350r.

The hotel definitely deserves its 3 stars, in a good way. Passers-by always stopped and looked at the hotel from a distance.
The road to the sea takes 5-7 minutes with children, but cars are constantly driving, there is a look right there, there are no sidewalks.
The sea is clean, calm, in comparison with Turkey (Alania) there is always a storm and a red flag, here for a week of rest the sea was stormy on the day of arrival, and the day of departure, and the rest of the days were calm. There are a lot of people, even in September.
At this time of the year, the day-night transitions, warm-cold, are already strongly felt, be sure to take warm clothes, we are not used to this in Turkey and it is warm at night, even in October.

Nice quiet hotel located 5 minutes from the sea. The breakfasts are delicious, and quite satisfying, there are many cafes and canteens nearby. Nice pool, clean, cleaned every morning. Sun loungers, umbrellas, everything is available. There is a bar next to the pool. The hotel area is not big but very well maintained, everything is very clean. The rooms are clean, there is a refrigerator, a TV that you never have time to turn on), a toilet combined with a shower, air conditioning, a large double bed. Windows to the floor.
If you plan to settle here, I advise you to rent a car, as public transport is quite tight. Cars for rent near the hotel. The hotel has free, covered parking for cars.
