Grand Hotel in Pogradec

The rooms were very nice and quiet. They were clean and also had good lighting. The bathroom was also clean and had running hot water. The staff was nice. The breakfast is very nice and it has the nornal things that a hotel breakfast has (egg,ham,sausage,cereal etc). The location is very calm and relaxing.

Beautiful and luxurious hotel. The room was big and very modern. The bathroom was brand new. The view of the pool was breathtaking. The staff and especially Sindi are very kind and hospitable. Rich breakfast and amazing pool. Totally recommend it.

Lovely, newly built hotel operated by a mother/daughter team. We are so happy we found the Grand Hotel after wandering into Pogradec without a room booked. This is further down the lake in the adjacent small town of Tushemisht. Very relaxing atmosphere with excellent restaurants just outside the hotel. If you contact them you can reserve a room without using a certain website for booking things used by foreign travelers and avoid the surcharges to yourself and the proprietors.

Lovely modern, clean and spacious hotel. Stayed 2 nights in family apartment, which sleeps 4 in 2 rooms (1 double bed and 1 with twin beds). Small fridge but no kitchenette. Cleaning staff were really attentive, watched them cleaning balconies and windows, top marks! Lovely pool area, unfortunately water was too cold when we were there so regret we couldn't enjoy. Breakfast was buffet one morning and table service the next, without a menu. Not sure why table service the 2nd morning, buffet was better (even with cold omelette/fried eggs) especially for children and non Albanian speaking guests who like to see what they are getting. Charging extra for coffee with breakfast was not expected or explained. The petula (fried bread/dough with jam/honey) is amazing, definitely recommend.
