Hotel Vila Twix in Berat

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vila Twix. The entire place was spotless,everything was perfectly clean and beautifully tidy, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The accommodation is ideally located and has a genuinely authentic charm, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area while still offering a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere.

One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. There was a fantastic variety each morning, and everything was truly delicious, a perfect and authentic start to the day. The owner deserves special praise as well; they were exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. Their warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome.

We enjoyed our time at Villa Twix so much that we even decided to extend our stay. It was a pleasure from start to finish, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful, authentic, and comfortable getaway.

The host helps you with parking as well, it was a huge life saver for us since it’s quite hard to find a parking place in Berat.

Absolutely lovey, family-run hotel. Just beautiful. Staff were great, messaging me clear info on how to locate the hotel and even offering to come meet me. Room was spotless with the most stunning view. Fantastic breakfast spread which I was able to enjoy out on their patio. Amazingly good value.

Amazing accommodation in Berat! The views are idyllic and the service is excellent. Breakfast was extensive with fruits, yoghurt, bread, local food and so on. The staff was very friendly and supplied extra information about things to do and where to eat. Bed and shower were also very comfortable. Walking distance to the old city centre. Only downside of the pretty location, is the few parking availabilities.

I was lucky that I stayed my three day vacation at this hotel! This was the best hotel that I have stayed in albania before! The service and the rooms are 10/10! If you visit Berat you have to stay at this hotel for sure!

We had a great stay here in Berat, the room was comfy and the terrace had a lovely view, also the breakfast was good, the fried bread in particular.
Staff were friendly and helpful too, also want to shout out the small, slightly anonymous looking coffee shop just to the right at the bottom of the lane, best espresso I had on the trip so far.
Only negative thing I have to say is that the caged birds made me sad, they seem to be common in Albania but what a sad existence...please consider upgrading their home

A well run guest house, well located in Berat. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable #, with good AC. The owner was very responsive and Facebook was an easy place to make a reservation. Nice breakfast on the terrace. The owner even helped us get to the Castle due to taxi drivers trying to rip us off. That was much appreciated. Access to the accommodation is up a steep footpath which for some may be an issue. That said, much of the accommodation in Berat is not on the flat. We would stay again if in the area.
