I had the best experience at Guest House Marashi! From the moment I arrived, the owners made me feel incredibly welcome—they are truly fantastic people who go above and beyond for their guests.

The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, authentic, and definitely some of the best I’ve ever had while traveling.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. And the view… just stunning! Waking up to such a beautiful landscape was genuinely unforgettable.

I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended to anyone looking for comfort, great hospitality, and breathtaking views!

I had the best experience at Guest House Marashi. Everything was absolutely perfect — from the warm hospitality to the comfortable rooms and the peaceful atmosphere. The food was outstanding, truly homemade and delicious, and it made the stay feel even more special.

Nice location, between the church and the Reconciliation Tower. Plenty of parking. Staff very friendly . Room ok size, clean, shower small. Great view from window. Had nice breakfast in the morning.

An outstanding place to stay! Came for two nights but would have loved to stay longer. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the room was spotless and well equipped, the breakfasts were incredible and I'll be thinking about the evening meal for a long time.

My husband and I stayed here after our hike from Valbone to theth and were welcomed with a glass of juice. We ate here on the evening and although there was no choice of food it was a buffet style of traditional food and was delicious. Breakfast was similar. The hosts were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. Only downside is room could have been slightly larger but not a big deal we were only there 2 nights and had a lovely balcony with view.

We had a very pleasant stay the three nights we stayed here in Theth. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We couldn't pay for our stay by credit card, but we were able to pay in euros. The beds are comfortable. Regarding the bathrooms, the showers could perhaps be improved to prevent the entire bathroom floor from getting wet, and a shelf could be added to store things. The views from the accommodation of the valley are quite good, and the routes to the Valbona Pass, Grunas Waterfall, and Blue Eye are quick from the accommodation. The breakfasts they serve are good, but they could perhaps vary the menus a little on different days, as all three breakfasts were very similar. If you're interested, they also offer dinner service. They have a cold storage room with soft drinks in case you want something to eat during the day. In short, a highly recommended accommodation if you want to spend several nights in Theth.

This is a family run guesthouse and they treat you like one of theirs. Very friendly people, great hosts and amazing food. The rooms are cozy.
Helped us with everything from arranging a taxi to blue eye to helping us with medical needs. We had a great 3 nights stay.

We stayed here 1 night before our Theth to Valbonë hike and it was wonderful. GETTING THERE We arrived in the minibus from Shkoder (booked with Northern Albanian Alps tour company), which parks in the "Centre" of Theth, and is about a 15 min walk to the guest house. It's an easy walk on a main rocky road along the river with our backpacks. We arrived too early for check in, but the hosts were very welcoming and provided coffee and offered to store our backpacks until check in. They arranged a taxi for us to the Theth Blue Eye trailhead (saved us 2 hours 😅). ROOM The beds were comfortable, room was clean and had a radiator for warmth at night. The view from our room in the main building we had was partially obscured by their second floor addition over the dining room, but could still see the beautiful mountains! FOOD The food was excellent (violeta made the best petula we've had in Albania in 2 weeks!). It's traditional guesthouse style - you sit and they serve you an abundance of traditional foods - cheese, meat, bread, and vegetables and fruit. We could eat dinner between 7-9, and breakfast started at 7am which was great to get started on our all day hike. We asked the night before and they packed us a lunch for our hike as well. Breakfast was included ( including coffee), and lunch and dinner + day time coffees are paid to the hosts. We paid about 2000 lek for 2 dinners + 2 lunches. IN THETH The guesthouse is well located - easy 15min walk from the centre/bus parking for arrival, easy walk to the Reconciliation Tower and Theth church, accessible to the road to either walk to the Theth Blue Eye (far!) or grab a taxi to the trailhead for 500 lek, who we arrange to come back to get us 3 hours later which was good timing. To hike to Valbonë in the morning, it's at 15 min walk back to the centre where the trail starts, so it does add an extra couple KM to your day hike but not much and honestly it's a nice warm up on flat road before the incline immediately starts on the trail.

This hotel is very nice! There were alot of tourist and the rooms are very cute and beautiful, the family that owns the guesthouse is very nice. Ky hotel është shumë i bukur! Kishte shumë turistë dhe dhomat janë shumë të lezetshme dhe të bukura, familja që ka bujtinë është shumë e këndshme.

We had a great stay, summarised the best bits and some things that could do with improving. Great: - Free parking - Amazing views - Modern decor - Good breakfast served like a buffet but for your own table: omelette, doughnut type balls, coffee and orange juice. - Super friendly hosts. Offered us a lift when we were stuck and gave us fruit for our journey when we left. So lovely. - No daily clean which we preferred but no problem asking for clean towels etc - Evening meal with them has to be booked in advance. 15euro pp/ 3150 lek for 2 people. Could be improved: - No hooks in bathroom or in room for coats etc. would be helpful for wet clothes. - Only 3 hangers - Drains in the bathroom smelt very bad. Bathroom is made to be pretty not so useful. Shower screen useless water goes everywhere and no bath mat. - Not a fan of the fluffy bedding. Prefer clean white bedding. - Pack eye mask as curtains ok Overall we really did love our stay here. Just a few things would have made it perfect.
