Alban Eco Hotel in Dhermi

We had such a wonderful stay at the Alban Eco Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself is spotless, with a lovely modern feel and a real sense of comfort. Our room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well taken care of. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked to come back again next June. Highly recommend!

We had planned to just stay one night in Dhermi. We had such a fantastic time that we decided to stay an extra night. The hotel we were staying at was only available for one night, so we went around to a few other hotels to check availability and they were all booked. This area is very busy at this time of year and we can understand why. The beaches are some of the most beautiful I have ever been to and I live in Hawaii, USA. After asking at a few hotels along the main strip, we came across the Hildon Eco Hotel and the young lady at the front desk was so nice, friendly and most of all helpful. She looked at her computer and then made a few calls and was able to find us a room for the following night. We had another family with us because we needed two rooms. She only had one in the place but was able to find us a second room at their other hotel which was also beautifully decorated and had an amazing view. We were so glad we had a second night booked so we could stay an extra day in this amazing place. The room was clean, cozy and modern. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel as we were visiting the beach. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet with a great selection of fruits, cheese, pancakes, crepes and juices. It was much better than the other hotel we stayed at the night before. We are very grateful for this experience to the young lady at the front desk who had a great attitude and willingness to help us. We have made many lifelong memories in Dhermi and these little extra acts of caring make a big difference.

Great location, great service! Beautiful room and very reasonable price. The beach is beautiful, just before you get to the hotel there is a lot of trash that is painful to look at and this luxury place does not care about it.

Great place. More than hospitable service, friendly staff, always ready for any needs. The restaurant in the hotel, I would say 5 stars with more than reasonable price / quality ratio. From salad to dessert everything is perfect. Tried several restaurants in the area, the Hildon Eco restaurant remains the best in service, price and quality of food. Too cozy and personal from the hotel to the restaurant and bar on the beach. Great job everyone.

Our experience couldn’t have been better. 10/10

The hotel is located right across the beach with ocean view balcony, and many free-to-use beach mattresses. The staff is very friendly and helpful, while we did have to use Google translate at times. It was always perfectly clean, and a restaurant integrated into the garden offers a small menu with a very relaxed atmosphere. While we usually slept through breakfast, we had some lunch which was very pleasant.

Besides the restaurant, there are many food options along the beach, with hotels, shops and beach bars to the left side. To the right is a calmer part of the beach with a beautiful seaside restaurant at the end. Past that, there are more smaller beaches to explore by foot. There is some ocean life to see while snorkelling, and there are also plenty of cute cats and dogs along the beach.

We found our room tidy and clean after coming back from the beach and were always able to communicate whether we wished to have the room cleaned or not. There was somebody at the reception at all times. In our first night we had some issues with electricity and hot water but this was fixed by morning.

We had a large balcony with ocean view in our room where we could see the sunset and moon. Room included a safe, a fridge, tv, hair dryer, AC and completely light-blocking curtains.

Seeing the other (older) reviews, we suspect there has been a change of team / management.
