Reviews
An absolute highlight in the heart of Vlora!
We stayed at the CHIC Boutique Hotel & Spa for several days, and it was simply outstanding from start to finish. The hotel is elegant, modern, and perfectly located — everything in the city is within easy reach.
The service was exceptional. Ana and the lovely ladies at the reception were always kind, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The gentlemen working there were also incredibly friendly and communicative — it truly felt like home.
The restaurant is a hidden gem! We had dinner there three out of four evenings because the food was absolutely sensational — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried other places for lunch, but nothing compared to the taste and quality here.
The terrace is wonderful — perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. My daughter loved their freshly squeezed orange juice, especially the one made by Ana, who truly makes the best orange juice in Vlora! 🍊
The pool is also cold and looks like it needs cleaning.
I had a very disappointing breakfast experience at this place.
1. I ordered fried eggs, and it was by far the worst I’ve had in all of Albania. The eggs were soaked in oil, not crispy at the bottom, served cold, and completely tasteless. I asked for cheese on top, but they served it on the side instead. I also requested salt and black pepper from two different staff members, but they only brought it after I had already finished my meal.
2. The cappuccino I ordered was served cold as well.
3. I asked for bread, but it arrived too late—after I had finished eating.
4. There were no napkins on the table, which is basic and expected.
5. Ironically, the only thing that came quickly was the bill.
Overall, this place is a terrible choice for breakfast. I do not recommend it at all.
The entire staff at the hotel were extremely professional and devoted to their work. They were always ready to help with a smile, which made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.
Thank you for such a memorable experience — I will definitely return next year without a doubt. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers everything you need
.for a relaxing vacation
We were welcomed by a very nice receptionist. The guy showed us the private hotel parking and the details for breakfast/spa. The service was overall good.
The room however, or the hotel itself did feel unfinished or rushed into ‘almost’ finished. It certainly does not feel like a 4 star hotel. The walls in the room had unfinished parts, the cupboard attached to the wall was falling off and the shower squeaked every time when we pushed the water flow higher. Also the bed lamps were not installed properly. The hall we were was somehow the only one without any decoration. Felt odd.
Funny enough the noise from the streets stayed outside when the windows were shut, but in the hotel itself it was loud. You could hear chairs moving from the levels downstairs.
On the other side the breakfast was nice and had kind of something for everyone. Fruits, bakery sweets and cheese boards.
