A building, though centrally located, hidden unmarked in a courtyard, with no lights in the stairwell, undergoing renovation. The front door is open day and night, allowing anyone to enter (the main building door is open), with homeless people sleeping on the landing. The room is cold, on the corner, with windows all around, and no bedside table or chair. Bedbugs in the sheets! The bathroom on the first floor is inadequate, with just one shower for ten people. No debit card payment facilities, they demanded cash payment, they tampered with the date of my reservation, and I never received an invoice or anything else (the offices and reception are elsewhere). Reported on Booking.com. BE CAREFUL!!

I had booked this property but when I arrived nobody was answering my text and calls, nor did I ever find the place, even though I searched around. It is possibly a scam, I escalated the issue to booking.com through which I found this property. Better look for legitimate places to stay nearby since there are plentiful.

We booked this hostel two months in advance via Booking.com, planning to stay from August 6–10 and again from August 24–27, 2025. On the day of arrival, they did not answer calls or messages, and it was impossible to reach them. They completely ignored even Booking.com’s calls when we tried to resolve the issue through customer support. As a result, they were blocked on Booking.com, but later reopened their page under a different name — “Wanderlust Guest House Inn Northern Avenue” — just to avoid bad reviews. Becuse it was a lot of reviews about their behaviour and scam with Booking.
We are still dealing with issues with Booking.com because of their lack of response. It’s a pity, because the hostel looks new and modern, but the management is absolutely irresponsible

We booked this accommodation more than a month in advance, but upon arrival there was no room available for us. We were offered another room in another (less central) place, which had no air conditioning or curtains to block out light. Our room also had a window to the hallway which could not be closed, so we could hear every sound. Overall the atmosphere was a bit sketchy. We decided to leave after 1 night because we were very uncomfortable. There was no one available to check out with/ask for a refund and the accommodation has ignored both our & Booking’s messages about this. We really do not recommend others to book/stay here.

We booked this inn a week in advance, but when we arrived, they just said “We’re busy” and refused to let us stay. They didn’t offer any help or solution—we were simply left outside to find another place by ourselves.
A part-time staff member was there, but he didn’t care at all. We asked to speak with the owner or manager, but no one showed up, and no one ever replied.
This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with accommodation. I strongly recommend staying somewhere else.
