We arrived late but helpful staff showed us where to park our car underneath the motel. The room was lovely with a very comfy king size bed - great bathroom too! Will definitely recommend

Let’s call the place what it is - a motel.
It’s nice enough, in a way, but the rooms are small and noisy from next door/above. Staff are lovely, but that doesn’t make up for the complete lack of food or drink facilities onsite (apart from a QR code to order takeaway packets).
The bike hire is a great idea, but they’re worn, overused and under-maintained.
Overall, it’s a Motel 6 / Super 8 setup (even a Holiday Inn express has breakfast) with a 5-6x price multiplier per night for nothing particularly special.
Love the location, the decor is decent in the rooms, and the staff are lovely.
But as a hotel at this price point? There are much better options around, sadly.

Really lovely place to stay. Rooms super clean and spacious. Heated pool which made it easier to get in and swim with the kids. Gorgeous chill out cabana area too! Highly recommend.

The hotel staff were warm and friendly, offering to help with luggage upstairs, and the rooms were very clean.

There's a WWS supermarket nearby, and the beach in town is within walking distance.

Enjoyed our stay due to close proximity of the Bay, however property is quite dated with poor plumbing (the water when showering constantly changes temperature) and no dining or breakfast facilities.

The front desk was very welcoming and took the initiative to help us move our luggage. We also let us enjoy our vacation. The hotel is quiet in a busy area, close to the bus station and supermarket, and the beach is also very beautiful

There is no 24-hour front desk, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this price

The hotel is on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator, which is very uncomfortable

The interior of the hotel is very nice, with a sea breeze style

Won't be going back. Had two drinks and food and then took part in their games: face painting. We were then banned from going back in for being "too drunk". We are also probably 10 year older than most

The badest Place i ever stay in AUSTRALIA !
You can get free Dinner card from some places. You are happy to go and enjoy the Dinner but have to show the Passport !! For a restaurant !! If you don’t take your passport with you Bye Bye ! Okay it is a Club later in the evening but for just eat dinner ?!
Very bad !

Can't get let in because the security guard says I had to much to drink. 5 women blind ahead of me from a hens party can get in but 2 guys who just got into town get let in. Talk about prejudice at its finest

It was my last night out in Byron Bay, I went first to the Beach hotel which was pretty nice. But somehow got an idea to go to this bar. I mean if you can walk all the way to the bar, they should let you in at least inside the bar and if you can't behave, then throw you out. But in my case bouncer was rude and arrogant, ask even my id's before refusing entry and I wasn't even drunk. I haven't seen this venue's staff but according to the previous feedbacks, they don't know what they do. I have been all other venues in Byron and trust me, they are much better for money and value. I was quite surprised because its NSW, and they have really strict drink policy. So, do yourself a favour and stay far away from this Cheeky bar.

Had such a wonderful night here with my girlfriend, the sashimi was so fresh and they had a large range of Japanese beers. Highly recommend!

Good selection of sushi available on the menu, although the train could have benefited from slightly greater diversity. Fair reasonably priced overall. Wait staff were lovely, and the complementary green tea was a nice touch.
