I like this hotel. We are planning to stay here again on our next holiday. The hotel’s locked‑up car park is not free for guests — it costs $30.00 per day. The view of the swimming pool is very nice.

This place is outstanding. Already at arrival reception staff, Marie and Nicole, were professional, polite, likeable and gave us little perks, nothing so special but enough to make us feel welcome. Room was great, pool is incredibly clean and well maintained, soft water. There is a nice little buffet with a beautiful view in the morning; outstanding location. Parking is $30 but no fuss. Gym? Forget it - here the gym is outside all around you in a beautiful location with great weather. We stayed one night on our road trip to elsewhere and this hotel was outstanding. Family? Highly recommended.

The $20 voucher was not explained to us properly at all.

1) no mention to us that there was a $10 voucher in our room with a list of terms and conditions including that mini bar is not part of the food and beverage credit.
2) the letter only mentioned we get a $20 credit and the receptionist said it would apply at checkout to any food and beverage charges we accrued. No mention of minibar not being included. Meant we did not use the $20 voucher and spent an extra $17 on the minibar. Pretty irritating.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Ron with a big smile. He assisted us professionally and with kindness.
We had lunch at Zebu. Everyone was great, with a special mention to Michelle, who confidently interacted with customers and always had a happy face. We saw her again at the buffet! She displays true customer service skills and is the kind of person who makes customers feel welcome and happy. The same goes for Joren, who greeted and served customers with a smile.Having dinner at Zebu was great as well
We will definitely come back, although The Sails is also our favourite hotel with the water dragons around.

Rydges Port Macquarie is one of our Favourite Destinations in NSW for Holidaying. The Hotel staff are pleasant and attentive. The rooms are serviced very well and is super clean. The amenities such as Pool, Gym, Restaurant (serves Pizza until late) are a Welcome bonus. Rydges Port Macquarie is certainly one of the Best waterfront Destinations I always recommend to my friends and family.

It was great staying at the hotel. The only problem is the rooms were not quite as you can hear the noise from nearby rooms or outside of rooms of running aircon outside units noise and this impacted our sleep. The beds were not comfortable at all. Overall had a restless night during this time. The breakfast was pretty average and not too many choices.

The hotel has been fully renovated and is gorgeous!! They offer room service and the pool is beautiful. A family of 4, we stayed in one room with 2 queen beds and the room had enough space to accommodate us comfortably. Location is perfect. Parking is around $30 but its easy and worth spending the money rather than trying to find a park miles away. We will be back! I highly recommend.

The chicken chow mein would have to be the worst I have ever had, the fried rice is dry and the honey chicken was soggy! Definatly won't be returning! Fast service is the only positive. But fast service isn't always good - I'd prefer to have my meal cooked while I wait, not have it reheated!

I've never dined in, so I can only give my take away experience, but the food here puts my regular joint in Sydney to shame.
