We booked an Executive Room, which is advertised as the best room in the hotel, however the experience was extremely underwhelming and disappointing.

The room was dated and unclean. The mattress was noticeably sunken, heavily stained, and appeared very old, resulting in a highly uncomfortable and disrupted night’s sleep. The carpet was stained, the couch was both stained and uncomfortable, the outdoor table was rusted, curtain threads were pulling, and the air conditioner had an unpleasant smell.

The bathroom facilities were also below standard. The cold tap did not provide cold water only lukewarm water and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom.

We reported these concerns to reception at approximately 11:00am the following morning after our first night. While we were offered an alternative room, it unfortunately presented with the same issues.

As a result, we chose to move to a different hotel the next morning. Despite staying for only approximately 18 hours in total, we were still charged for two nights.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, particularly given we had booked what is promoted as the hotel’s premium room. We would not stay here again.

It should have been great but it wasn’t. Don’t stay in rooms 101 - 104. They look onto the lobby driveway so you are constantly disturbed by people or deliveries coming and going. If you want a room looking over a driveway with road noise book a cheap motel and save $100 or more. The bed was so soft, I couldn’t sleep and have a sore back. The hotel was not busy mid week so there was no need to give us this room. That’s a service issue. Turns out the desk clerk is the General Manager’s partner, so I expect he gets immunity on this one! The rest of the hotel looks nice, the location is great and by all reports the restaurant is pretty good.
