Reviews
Rooms were lovely and clean and spacious.
Would like to give a special shout out to staff member Adelaide that went above and beyond the call of duty! What a delightful member of staff to have at your front door. Her professionalism and friendliness enhanced experience at Sails.

Relaxing Pool area with heated Spa
The room was dated and unclean. The mattress was noticeably sunken, heavily stained, and appeared very old, resulting in a highly uncomfortable and disrupted night’s sleep. The carpet was stained, the couch was both stained and uncomfortable, the outdoor table was rusted, curtain threads were pulling, and the air conditioner had an unpleasant smell.
The bathroom facilities were also below standard. The cold tap did not provide cold water only lukewarm water and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
We reported these concerns to reception at approximately 11:00am the following morning after our first night. While we were offered an alternative room, it unfortunately presented with the same issues.
As a result, we chose to move to a different hotel the next morning. Despite staying for only approximately 18 hours in total, we were still charged for two nights.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, particularly given we had booked what is promoted as the hotel’s premium room. We would not stay here again.
The hotel features a small swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful garden and Hastings River, making it a lovely spot to take a dip or simply relax by the water.
Breakfast offers a good variety of options (with an extra charge for barista coffee), and the restaurant has a great view overlooking the water.
Our room, which faced the garden, was peaceful and quiet. However, we did notice a small animal, possibly a gecko, near the air conditioning pipe. Parking is outsourced to an external service, so it comes with an additional cost.
Very handy to town centre and local attractions
Bed was a little uncomfortable though and too bouncy but overall room was good and restaurant food great

I normally wait to have a meal before I write a review, unless the service it's so slow that I get bored enough. The service here is way too slow. They didn't appear particularly busy. OK, so been waiting for about 30 minutes and now they tell me they are out of rice which is part of my dish. Lol, if they had told me 20 minutes ago I could have nipped up the road and bought some for them. Now it appears I am having fries with my coconut prawns.
Sometimes I wonder how theses places stay in business or how much they could make of they were run better.
They also stuffed up the coffee order. I ordered an extra large and they brought out a small. When I mentioned it they were going to take away the coffee which I had waited 15 minutes for, so I had to suggest they leave the small and bring another rather than leave me without coffee for another 15 minutes. I mean what were they going to do with it.
Overall quite nice
