Check in process was a little confusing, apartment presented under parr. Mould in bathroom, dirty shower curtain, visible cockroaches. Leaking bathroom tap, tv not working, replacement tv randomly turned itself on throughout early hours of the morning. Pool lounge chair broken & remained in service, lack of safety rails leading to pool area. Beds very uncomfortable, & general stale smell remained in unit during our stay. Pool towels not available as mentioned in information booklet in unit.

Contactless check-in worked fine. However, the aircon did not work in our apartment, we had to call someone about it rather than just go to reception. We got moved to a lower grade room as there were no spare rooms the same as what we paid for. The first room was on the fourth floor yet there are no elevators, not a pleasant experience when carrying bags from the basement to the room. The new room had no working overhead light in the main bedroom. There was no plug for the bath, so our daughter could not have a bath. The washing machine lid won't open all the way as it hits the dryer above, making using it more difficult. all the clocks in the room (wall, microwave) were wrong (by hours). The room comes with a DVD player, but it's not plugged in.

The manager Claudia was awesome! When she learned that my daughter and I were travelling with her 2 very small children, Claudia changed our room to a more accessible one and helped us carry all the baby paraphernalia inside.

It was very easy for checking in even though outside of reception hours. The property is extremely well maintained and very handy to beaches, easy stroll to shopping centres and restaurants. Claudia was very helpful and good with local knowledge and recommendations.

Beachcomber is well maintained and located close to the beach. We were three adults and a three year old so booked a two bedroom apartment. It was large with a kitchen and a balcony. Basement parking was available. The reception and checkin was friendly and efficient. The wading pool was great for the three year old and the spa worked well. Q: would we stay here again? A: yes
