Very good hostel outside, swimming pool, beach volley, kitchen… I like the vibe ! But the rooms aren’t good, no blanket, a lot of noise, no lockers, in the room it was cold. To bad because the hostel are very good

Was in an older room, no plugs or lights per bed, one shower and toilet between 8 people, barely cleaned. Good social activities and location.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Airlie. However, I found it disappointing that only a linen sheet was provided on the bed—no blanket at all. It got quite chilly at night. This setup might be fine in summer, but a blanket is definitely needed for cooler seasons!

Spacious rooms and fab pools, but the best part about this place is the staff. Quentin in particular is so friendly and welcoming. Quentin was amazing for making me feel welcome and knew great recommendations. Great location to lagoon, bars and shops.

The hostel is super big, but still very social which is amazing. Location is great as well as your right at the Main Street of Airlie. The rooms are a bit dated and could do with an upgrade. However, The staff is super friendly and helpful. Thanks to reika who moved me into a room with my friends after being split up.

The hotel staff provided excellent service, but the facilities and dining options were just average. The surroundings of the hotel were very pleasant, and it's a convenient location with lots of people around. The staff were also very polite.

The hotel's pool area is great for photos, and you can also relax on the loungers nearby to pass the time. There's a Coles supermarket close by, which is convenient for shopping. However, the soundproofing in the rooms is quite poor.

We alerted reception of this issue twice on separate days and all they could offer us was extra towels because our stay was too short. The room was a bit small, but the view was absolutely incredible! The resort's pool and restaurant views were also stunning. It's also super close to the main street, definitely worth a stay.

The hotel is clean and tidy, and conveniently located right next to the pier for sea excursions. It's also very close to the main road. Highly recommend!

Great, friendly check in experience. Room was spacious and clean, but a little dated. No gym on site, but could use another nearby resort's gym if arranged with Reception. Lovely pool and plenty of lounges that overlooked the ocean. Food and drinks were on the high side, as expected at a resort property, but food was good.

The overall spaciousness of the villa was great, and the sea view room was incredibly refreshing. My only complaint was the frequent insects 🥲, things like geckos and grasshoppers were a bit startling and difficult for guests to handle themselves.

The room was excellent, spacious with a wide view overlooking the entire Airline Beach. It also had a swimming pool. The only downside was its height, which wasn't ideal for hikers.

Sea view room, large space, kitchen can also be used for simple cooking, the location is about 8-10 minutes by car from the main street, watching the sunrise and sunset is very healing, the landlord's grandmother said that I can post it on Xiao🍠, she will watch it hahaha

Advantages: Located halfway up a mountain, the sea view is stunning, and the rooms are very spacious. Disadvantages: The bathroom drainage isn't very smooth, and there's a long uphill climb from the main street to the hotel, which can be tiring.

The service has been incredible. Staff were always helpful. For the price you are paying, you get a lot compared to other places. The facilities available worked well for us, especially the BBQ. We loved the pool. Would definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Shingley Beach Resort. Great location, well appointed and spacious 1 bedroom apartment. The 2 pools and cafe on site were great. Our room had a beautiful view of the Marina and ocean. Easy walk to restaurants. Short drive to town centre. Would highly recommend.

The room was generous in size, with a large living area and wardrobe. Laundry machine and dryer were in the bathroom. Reception was closed when we arrived at 1:30 PM on a Saturday. We stayed 5 nights. We lived on the second floor and the view was beautiful. Other than that it was very average. Dirty dishes (we had to wash everything we wanted to use), dust in the roof by the fan. Very old showerhead, it took a while to shower because the water sprayed more to the sides than on me. It smelled like a drain in the bathroom. Other than that it was fine.

The apartment was very tired, needs a up grade. The spa was very old lots of broken parts. The bathroom has no central drain so when you have a shower water stay lying on floor. Making a slip hazard. The location is FABULOUS so close to the shops, loved the pool areas, and didn't realise they had a spa and that was warm enough. Only a small hill to climb (and Airlie has many !!!), friendly staff and good clean apartments. I've stayed there twice and would book again based on location alone.

We had an amazing stay at Waters Edge! The location was perfect, an easy 4 min walk (walking with young children) to the shops, grocery store and about 8 minutes to the lagoon. Location is unbeatable. The hotel is a bit run down but the room is big with all the basics you need. They need to do pest control though as we’ve had quite a few crawling animals during our stay.

This is not a hotel! This is a self contained apartment! Need to have a car or be quite fit to climb there! The room is old fashioned and mattress are all too soft. Shower water is moderate and not very hot. Guest needs to take out the rubbish. Good part is the swimming pool which has the view of the beach and marina.

Lovely apartment within walking distance to marina and town centre. The infinity pool is beautiful and the whole complex is very clean and well maintained. The only negative would be a slight cleanliness issue with our apartment, food debris under the couch from previous occupants.

The room was fantastic. The accommodation was an easy 5 min walk from the port and the city centre. Kitchen was well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. For Jacqui and Brenda we take our hats off to them as nothing was too much trouble for them to respond to our needs or requests.

Perfect and affordable spot in Airlie just a short walk to everything you need. The apartment was very clean with everything you would need and the perfect size for two. The spa on the balcony was a great touch with some great views of the marina and bay.

The welcome was simple but efficient. We've stayed in so-called "luxury" hotels that were of a higher standard. There was no elevator to access the rooms. It's a bit far from the city center, which might be better for avoiding noise, but not traffic noise. The hotel is a bit expensive for the quality.

The house was simple and clean, with a balcony facing the sea, but no elevator. There was a road right downstairs, but it wasn't noisy enough to sleep. The hotel had its own restaurant, offering a simple breakfast of bread and milk. Choosing a hotel in the Whitsunday Islands is an important task! Because there are so many 45-degree slopes, this one wasn't on a slope.

There are many restaurants downstairs and in the surrounding area. It's close to the beach, but not many people swim there. The open-air swimming pool by the sea is 200 meters away, clean and suitable for swimming. If you want to take a boat trip or a small plane tour, there's a car service to pick you up from the hotel. Our apartment 24 had the most amazing views. Apartment itself was wonderful, so spacious and very tastefully decorated. Complimentary items were great. Having a washing machine and dryer was handy. It may only be a 200 metre walk from the resort front gate to the shops and then on to the waterfront. But that's a 24% grade. It's steep. And when you climb back up that hill and reach the resort, you keep climbing, up steps or steep driveways.
