Let's start with the positives: the location is incredibly convenient, and they even have their own restaurant. A pleasant surprise was seeing cockatoos visiting daily.

However, the downsides were quite noticeable. There was construction noise every day, which really disturbed my rest. One day it started as early as 7:28 AM, and in the afternoons, from around 2 PM to 4 PM, there was almost constant noise. The duvet was a layered type, which felt unhygienic and difficult to use, and the sheets kept slipping off, making for an uncomfortable sleep. Additionally, the bathroom didn't have a separate wet and dry area, and daily housekeeping didn't include cleaning the bathroom.

The room was clean and bright, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The front desk service was warm, but the lady at the front desk seemed a bit impatient with the group checking in before me, who weren't very good at English. The location is excellent, with plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations and offered great value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

There are many restaurants downstairs and in the surrounding area. It's close to the beach, but not many people swim there. The open-air swimming pool by the sea is 200 meters away, clean and suitable for swimming. If you want to take a boat trip or a small plane tour, there's a car service to pick you up from the hotel. The location is excellent.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right on the main street. However, there's been some construction downstairs recently, with drilling noises starting at 8 AM. So, at the moment, it's perfect for early birds! 😂

The weather wasn't great during this trip, so we couldn't go out to sea, which was a bit of a shame. But before we left, we finally saw the blue sky, white clouds, and the beautiful coastline – definitely worth the trip! Looking forward to my next visit, I'll still choose to stay at the Airlie Beach Hotel. ☺️

Nice room and well located

The room was pretty average overall, but the location was decent. I think there might be some newer hotels on the main street, so it's worth checking out other options.

I stayed in a courtyard room located in the annex building at the back. It was relatively quieter, though the hotel's bar played loud music daily. The room wasn't spacious, comparable to a motel room, and was generally clean. A minor inconvenience was that the shower only had a curtain, with no separate space to hang clothes or place toiletries. Similarly, the bathroom itself lacked hooks or shelves for hanging or placing items. There was only one switch for all three lights and the exhaust fan in the bathroom, meaning they all operated simultaneously, which was quite inconvenient. Plus, the exhaust fan was extremely loud. The bathroom odor was manageable, as we could just close the door and open the window. The mattress in the room was quite comfortable. Visiting Airlie Beach in September was perfect; we didn't even need to use the air conditioning. The location was excellent, very close to all tour pick-up points, right at the end of the main street. The hotel's own pool was quite small, but thankfully, there was a beautiful public lagoon nearby that we could easily use instead. The beach across from the hotel offered free BBQ facilities with excellent views and was noticeably quieter than the main town center. Overall, it was an acceptable stay.
