Room was not very family friendly, needs maintenance.

Looks a little rough on the outside but the rooms are perfectly fine. If you want the best then pay the best. I'd stay here again no problem 👌

Property was close to where we wanted to be. Beds were clean and fresh. Some maintenance issues in both rooms - ceiling fans were either like cyclones or hardly moving, only one bedside lamp was working in one of the rooms.Some attention to detail re cleaning was needed - old soap left behind, dirty cup in sink.

The Staff workers was very helpful and friendly, lovely accommodation would like to stay there again. Thankyou Andrew & Wife 👍

Lovely little place to stay for our very short visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Very affordable. Will be staying again on our next visit.

We travelled as 3 adults, 3 children. We panicked when we first got to the place it looked rough. We went to reception to find it unattended but within moments of calling the provided number we were greeted by a nice lady who appeared to live there. The place e enjoyed the place to ourselves. It was out dated and we realised the manger was onsite. But they respected oir space and didn’t seemed fussed...

There have been over the top toxic reviews of this place a while ago when now it’s a very good affordable motel room. Nothing wrong with it. Pristine cleanliness, an excellent manager, cold air con, fab outside balcony, even buscuits with the coffee and a bath to soak in. And so cheaper than similar motels. I visit cairns often and this will be my new motel to stay in.

Great room for stop over or a few days. Secure parking is a bonus. Rooms are clean and bathroom is dated but useable. Bed was comfortable. No noise outside after pool closed on time. Late check in instructions very clear and precise and had no trouble self checking in. Have stayed here many times.

Cheap place for a late night landing. Old nothing like the photos. Spotlessly clean. Great friendly staff. It is what it is………old……..clean ………cheap.

A convenient place to stay for a night, midway between the airport and Cairns town centre.

Low cost, clean accomodation. Great position, clean room with clean linen. Kitchenette with microwave and electric jug. A bedspread or bed cover would have been appreciated. Security gate locked at 10pm so after returning from a concert our car had to remain on the street for the night. Overall a clean, low cost accomodation option close to the hospital and esplanade.

Relatively cheap but very old and dated. Exterior building needs urgent clean (paths moldy and unsafe to walk on in rain) and urgent garden maintenance. Rooms good size and close to hospital.

We stayed from Nov 12 to 17th in a 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool and ocean. We had a wonderful time in this holiday apartment and had everything we needed - and there were loads of nice touches - like coffee, tea bags, some milk etc and dishwasher tablets. Having laundry in the unit was a major plus! Loads of beautiful birds and fruit bats can be seen from the balcony! I really truly appreciated...

Both areas very good and clean

Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Stove top didn't work but that was fixed the next morning. Nice pool for a swim. Travelled with one adult and two teenagers. We thought it was nice.

Nice place to stay A little dated, but nice place to stay. Right across from the esplanade. Short drive or a 20 minute walk into the heart of the city. Would stay again.

Really nice room with nice views. Close to shops and can walk to most tourist spots and nice walking along the esplanade. Planes do fly over during the day but didn’t really bother us. Can highly recommend

We stayed 4 nights, really close to Cairns central train station and shopping mall. About 15 min walk to promenade. We really liked our room on first floor overlooking a pool.

Great location to Cairns CBD and water front. Friendly welcome at the reception. Stone throw away from the shopping mall, which has 2 big supermarket for all your essentials. Even though was close by, the apartment was quiet, very little traffic noise. Had 2 pools which looked good. Very clean and well equipped, would stay here again.

The environment is pleasant, the pool is beautiful, and the facilities are comprehensive. The in-room cooking utensils are also well-equipped. It's about a 20-minute walk to the pier, and there's no direct bus. Plus, bus schedules in Cairns are quite unreliable.

We stayed here in 2024 and loved it so much that we come back this year ! It's situated in a great location, next door to Cairns Central so shopping was literally on our doorstep. The rooms are lovely and clean, there are 3 great swimming pools, and it's a nice walk to the esplanade where you can have a lovely walk into the centre and you'll have a great selection of eateries to choose from. The room was clean and with a well equipped kitchen, the large king size bed was comfy. It was a bit noisy at night being at the front by the main road. The reception staff weren't the friendlies but they did their bit. The maintenance guy was very helpful when we needed assistance with the laundry operations. Not bad accommodation for the affordable charge.

The staff were wonderful. The beds are comfortable and the room functional. The rooms unfortunately have bright lights outside the window, so it remains bright at night. The provided coffee is absolutely awful (undrinkable!) so I recommend bringing your own. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff specially the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

Great service and staff at Bayleaf restaurant. Been going here for 40 odd years. Great vegetarian tofu in turmeric sauce. I ask for extra coconut cream to make it less spicy, and they always oblige. Great place altogether. We sat outside last night as it wasn't raining.

Staff friendly and helpful on arrival. Room could have used a good clean. Was only cleaned in the areas you can see. The bed was on wheels on tiles so when it moved the floor was very dirty underneath the bed. The vent in the bathroom was completely choked with dust blocking all holes in the vent. Bed is comfy, sheets are clean but blankets looks not washed, so we did not use it. Toilet is clean and love the shower. Facility is really old, needs updating.

The room was equipped with a washer, dryer, kitchen, and bathtub, which was very convenient for our consecutive nights. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. They also changed towels and took out the trash, making for a comfortable stay. There's a 7-Eleven and a Hungry Jack's within walking distance. It felt safe and walkable, even at night. Cooking facilities, sitting area, shared toilets/ showers. There was about 6 showers maybe but they were always avaliable, room had a fridge. The downstairs restaurant was cheaper for quests and did do good food.

We stayed a week at the jack and had a really nice human experience. The staff is the loveliest, always keen to help with anything and very accommodating. In addition the people staying there are all very nice as well which makes the whole place even more enjoyable. Special thanks to the best staff Ricky, Mattias and Harriet.

I didn't stay here but the pub is around the corner from my hotel. Food is reasonably priced and delicious. T-bone specoal.on tuesdays is a bargain. Staff are very friendly and food is quick. Different seating areas for different tastes. Staff need to learn about wine (I had to explain to a bartender that she wouldn't find Shiraz in the bar fridge and that Cabernet Sauvignon is a type of wine).

The hotel room is spacious, and the kitchen is fully equipped, even with a rice cooker. The supermarket and pier aren't far, easily within walking distance. Plus, the beach is right next door, perfect for a stroll.

Very clean big quiet apartment, huge comfy bed and powerful shower. Laundry facilities in apartment was very useful. Situated at the quieter end of the esplanade which was perfect for us. Five minute walk to all the restaurants and bars. Easy walk to pick up boats for tours. Would def recommend

Quite a basic room but suited us perfectly for our short visit to cairns. Its proximity to the harbour for the boat trips was ideal and many waterfront restaurants can also be found here. We loved the rooftop pool which was perfect to chill out. There was a jacuzzi here too and a gym and sauna

Lovely apartment. Spacious, clean and quiet building. Nice view over the harbour and town. Great location, easy walking distance to the harbour and town. There are multiple restaurants very close by including some accessible in the same building. Only negatives were the air con is loud and didn't always seem to work in the bedroom. It would have been useful to be informed about the garbage rooms....

I stayed for two nights, and the first unexpected thing was that the laundry wasn't available, which was a real shame. You can get fresh towels if you ask. As for Wi-Fi, it was only available in public areas, so I couldn't connect while in my room. The room had a TV, but Netflix wasn't accessible. Be aware that there were ants walking around and a cockroach appeared, so if you're bothered by that,...

I got the spa room for two nights. The TV didn't work and the fridge didn't work. Wasn't happy.

Anna is a wonderful host who was responsive and accommodating including early check in. Apartment was spacious, decorated in a Balinese theme and stocked with all the amenities including Netflix.
