Booked hotel for one night because the hotel I had been in was not good. Very nice room, plenty of space and good view of the ocean. Comfortable bed so really pleased with my stay and wish I’d come here earlier in my stay.

Front counter were friendly and accommodating. Location was close to everything. Facilities and grounds were well kept. Just didn’t like having to take used towels down and hand them to reception and exchange for clean ones.

The hotel service was excellent, and the staff's attitude was very good. I was also extremely satisfied with the hotel's facilities, such as the swimming pool, and the billiards and electronic piano in the activity room, which provided entertainment during my free time. However, it would be even better if the hotel had a gym.

The facilities are very old. The terrace on the second floor is very large and you can see the fireworks. It is troublesome to go downstairs to get towels.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gilligan’s! They have different activities everyday in the bar downstairs. Most of the staff is really nice and especially Lina who supported us at beerpong was amazing!! Can definitely recommend the hostel, we would always come back.

Location is not too bad. Situated a 15 minute walk away from the waters and main restaurant area. Situated on a main road but quiet at night. They let us put down our luggage when we couldn’t check in yet and leave it there after we’d checked out and waited for our flight. The young female receptionist was very helpful and nice.

The reception lady was very unfriendly. She did not explain to me how I could be able to get hot water as no kettle was not provided. They should give guidance to let me figure out what to do with this as it should be available. It isn't an upscale hotel, but its near the city center and has good amenities, wifi, mini fridge, and microwave.

Our room was clean and there were amenities provided such as soap, shower gel/shampoo, a hairdryer and a fridge. A good place to stay but it is a bit of a walk to the city centre.

The room was clean, but it wasn't cleaned daily. The bed was clean and spacious. You should bring your own slippers. Some people might find the bathroom a bit concerning, but the staff were nice.

The reception staff were all very kind! There's a shopping center a short walk away, which includes T2 and Target! Also, since all the cooking utensils were provided, I was able to buy ingredients at the supermarket and cook my own meals, which saved me a lot of money!

The accommodations were super clean and environmentally sensitive - and a very nice walk from all the things going on in the city. They had great information about tourist spots and where to go as a local. If you're there for more than a few days, I highly recommend! Their free bikes and pool were the cherries on top.

It's not bad, but be careful when closing the balcony door, there will be a little gecko running behind the refrigerator and then making a loud beeping sound, which will scare you.

Stayed here with my partner and son. One queen bed 1 single. Room had aircon, microwave, toaster and a fan. Easy to keep cool as it's a small room. Has a private shower and toilet. Bit annoying as booked through booking.com and the pictures advertised showed a room with a cooker which is why we booked realised when we got there we didn't have that. We stayed one night before heading to the Great Barrier Reef. They kindly held our luggage for us even after check-out, which was a great help.

The Heritage cairns was very hard to find, as all signs have been removed or painted out. It is in quite a good location, being 2 blocks back form the Esplanade in Cairns Central. It is not a new property but was clean and tidy. It would be suitable for short stop overs but not really for long stays, however its modest cost reflects that it is not a new flashy hotel. We needed a place for two nights when coming to the area for a funeral. The venue is clean, well priced, convenient to Cairns CBD and places to eat and also eat to get to the major roads, airport etc. The two bed, two bath apartment we had was a great size and worked well. Would stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights, one night was New Years Eve. We stayed in the 2 bedroom superior apartment, our daughter had her own room and bathroom. First of all, this is not a 5* Hotel and is not trying to be. This is a budget place to stay and with that in mind, I thought it was great. The rooms were large enough, had a table and chairs, kettle, fridge, microwave, cutlery, the most amenities so far in 4 months of travelling. There have been over the top toxic reviews of this place a while ago when now it’s a very good affordable motel room. Nothing wrong with it. Pristine cleanliness, an excellent manager, cold air con, fab outside balcony, even buscuits with the coffee and a bath to soak in. And so cheaper than similar motels. I visit cairns often and this will be my new motel to stay in.

A convenient place to stay for a night, midway between the airport and Cairns town centre.

Low cost, clean accomodation. Great position, clean room with clean linen. Kitchenette with microwave and electric jug. A bedspread or bed cover would have been appreciated. Security gate locked at 10pm so after returning from a concert our car had to remain on the street for the night. Overall a clean, low cost accomodation option close to the hospital and esplanade.

Relatively cheap but very old and dated. Exterior building needs urgent clean (paths moldy and unsafe to walk on in rain) and urgent garden maintenance. Rooms good size and close to hospital.

There was a very bad plumbing smell and we contacted management. They initially responded to us but then ignored our subsequent requests for the smell to be checked and for a solution be figured out.
