Spacious room, very comfortable bed with ceiling fan and nice cold AC. Lovely lady who serviced us. Parking available and good, central location. We had a good stay :)
I felt that it was a very good point that there was a railroad crossing of the Kuranda Railway nearby and I could see the train up close. Also, there is a convenience store nearby, so I don't think you will have any trouble living.
The receptionists were very nice, kind and polite. There was a pool in the middle of the hotel, and it was nice to be able to spend time watching the children having fun.
We booked this on the night of arrival. The office was closed, but the owner was very quick to respond. He gave us a late checkout, which was very welcome after a trying days travel. Good, comfortable sleep, and after checkout we were able to leave our luggage there. There is a noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the room needs some maintenance, but overall a good place to stay.
Friendly staff, great room for a great price. Will book again.

Overall, I was very satisfied, but when we checked in, we were told that the king-size room we booked was fully booked and we could only get a twin-size room, which was really incomprehensible. But the rest was really good. I especially like the handsome guys and girls at the front desk who helped us book nearby attractions and were very friendly and kind. Our trip to Cairns was also very beautiful...
Its a good place within access to many facilities. The staff is friendly and quite forthcoming in attending to one's needs. Rooms are clean and roomy affording a good aeration. Will recommend the place for any type of stay, holiday or work, short or long stays
Very happy with the service and accommodation. Loved our stay.
View from the room looks really good. It is 1km walking distance to everything including bars restaurants ferry supermarket and public swimming pools. 1 dollar day pass bus is available and there is a stop behind the hotel. But if you do not want to walk for hundreds meters or 1km, the location is not good for you.

A well presented accommodation with everything you need. I really liked the front desk hours. They are open till 10.30 pm. The only setback was that the wi fi didn't work.

The room size is relatively large, a bit small and old, and it is relatively close to the airport. health conditions can also. Its restaurant serves Thai food. I ate it once for dinner, so you can give it a try.
Not a bad spot but there are better options in town. The front staff is nice but you can wait up to half an hour because there is one staff member for the desk for a fairly large hotel. The room was comfortable and air conditioned. One washer and dryer for the hotel at $3 each ($1 coins only). The restaurant is so-so. Other people were having hot water issues and had to change rooms multiple times...

Big rooms, close to Esplanade. At the 'other' end of all the city action. Easy 15 min walk to get there though. Good iron, lots of space and friendly staff
People can be precious. It's cheap, clean, quiet, friendly and convenient. Close to foreshore and all the takeaway you could need on the highway 200m away. As good as you could ask for a work traveller.

The facilities were well-equipped, so I was able to cook my own meals to save money without any problems. I did have some trouble with the facilities on the last day, but with the help of the Trip.com front desk staff, I was able to deal with the matter smoothly with the hotel staff. The room is large, well-equipped, very quiet at night, and very convenient to the scenic area. The grandma at the front desk is very kind and friendly.

Fabulous I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the apartment with kitchen. I always look for an apartment with a bath and Tropic Towers didn’t disappoint.
This property was great value, and very spacious with a lovely little bath to soak in, while taking in the bird sounds, and the swaying palms overlooking the balcony. Close to town, but set apart from the main busy area, it was perfect for our stay, and was even better than we had imagined. Check in process was easy and seamless. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Great value Really impressed, staff were delightful, place was clean. Great price for the size and facilities in the room. Not too far of a walk from groceries or restaurants. Only 20-30 min walk to the esplanade. Would recommend.

Couldn’t wish for a better apartment as it was so well-equipped, clean, furnished, had a great view from our 4th floor apartment to the sea & mountains, and the bonus was a washer & drier - free! - in the bathroom! We would highly recommend these apartments!

Polite & professional staff at check in. The pool was lovely. The room was simple, but clean & had everything I needed. I would stay again.
It was quite a hassle to carry my suitcase up the stairs. There was no hotel staff at the counter, but they came right away when I rang the bell.
The shower was terrible, and the bathroom overall was barely usable.
Basic accommodation, only limited parking, therefore parking on street required.
Clean, convenient location Clean room, met my needs for an overnight stay close to the CBD.
Great location. Easy walking to beach, shops, night market and ******. Older unit but had everything we needed. Lovely helpful staff. Down side only 6 car parks. If you miss out on a car park you have to park out side on the street. I would definetly stay here again.

Convenient apartment with pool. The sheets were clean and there was air conditioning in each room that only went as low as 23 degrees. The whole place could have done with a thorough clean though and at least cleaned under the beds between guests. OK place to stay.
I would recommend Tradewinds as a great place to stay. The apartments are very comfortable & very clean. The beds are great......the best nights sleep I've ever had outside my own home. The aircon is fantastic. The pool area is a great place to relax & cool off. Wayne & Linda are lovely & were very helpful & considerate to myself & my family during our stay.

Stayed there for a week. Nice pool, good parking, close enough to the shops and town centre. Nice, clean rooms. Would stay there again. Only down side was the host. Could be a bit more accommodating. Over all quite happy.
Owner was helpful and kind, helped us book everything we wanted at a discount. Location is fantastic, clean and quiet, surrounded by restaurants and tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed originally 2 nights in an Ensuite cabin at this holiday park and enjoyed it so much we extended another day. Room is clean and well equipped, staff friendly, no complaints at all! Great location as close to Cairns! Would recommend and definitely stay again if in the area next time!

We loved this place it was great to stay in, the cabins had everything we needed the service was friendly and the staff around the park were great as well. It was close to everything and easy to get in and out of. Facilities were neat and clean we used the BBQ area with our friends that were camping, was so clean.
Park fine. Amenities old but clean. Noise from the main road at night can be heard particularly when sirens go past which is very often - not that the park can do anything about this but just be warned WiFi was not stable in the location we camped so don’t rely on using it. Room for motor homes $62 for 2 adults & 2 kids per night with power and water Staff lovely and very helpful with discounts...
This van park lovely. Handy too. Only fault is every morning the cleaner/ owner ? moves books & mags out of laundry & throws away ( or gives away). So a few people hoping to swap books but couldnt. I ended up swapping with another lady.
