Place is an absolute disgrace to stay especially as family cockroaches everywhere drug paraphernalia through rooms cigarette smell through corridors beds are an absolute low and so is bathroom is not somewhere to stay I would not recommend

These guys helped us out when our other accomadation doubled booked us. The Staff were so helpful providing accommodation last minute even giving us an upgrade. Hard to find apartments so close to city for under $200 a night. Shops pubs restaurants all walking distance. Enjoy so much I Have already booked my return trip 😁

Great central location close to CBD across road from water town for shopping and a free bus that stops out front of property location location the apartment was roomy and clean with everything you need for a night or a week. Staff were helpful and friendly. The price was Very reasonable considering location. Differently will be staying again would recommend to anyone on budget needing self contained accommodation close to CBD

There were cockroaches in the room, and someone was quarreling somewhere outside at three o'clock in the middle of the night. They were talking so much that they couldn't sleep at all. The front desk doesn't work until 8 o'clock in the morning. You can't check out the room at 7 o'clock. You need a credit card to pay the deposit. Cash payment is not supported because they only start checking the room at 11 o'clock or 12 o'clock. If you want to leave early and don't have a credit card, you have to press your passport, and then after 12 o'clock Come and pick it up again (Why can other hotels pay deposits in cash?

I booked this hotel thinking yeah look it’s not far from where I need to be and it’s cheap so that’s great. A few days before my stay I read the reviews and got a bit worried but I was still open minded. It was great, the staff were lovely, parking was a little difficult but there was lots of it. It was easily accessed all hours of the day, and even had some really cute vending machines. By no means is this a fancy hotel but if you’re just looking for something close to the city for a night or two it’s great. The rooms are such a amazing size for the price and they even have smart tvs in lounge?? The furniture has been updated (as some other reviews disagree), and honestly it was as spotless as could be. I’m a commercial cleaner myself and I can tell with minimal staff they’re really trying to make this a pleasant stay.Bed was comfy and warm, aircon ran well, elevators work and I had no noise complaints. My only negative is that you can tell it’s currently being used as a quarantine hotel by the trash waiting in the hallways and our neighbour had a bunch of cigarettes in their trash outside their door, aswell as the hallways are a little dirty but I can understand how hard it is to vacuum them 24/7. But overall my room was great and I really enjoyed my stay.

This place doesn't deserve even one star. The worst place of my entire travel history. Worst ownership and worst of the worst staff. Cigarette smoke all through the night. Due to that vacated the room and no refund was given. And the worst was the nasty smell in the lift and the corridors.

The mattress was dirty and the receptionist said she could offer us another room but couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t be the same and that I must find it hard as I am very fussy. Cost $316.82 for 1 night on 11/03/2023. We left. Management don’t want to know and don’t answer emails.

My daughter booked a double room from the pictures that are on their advertisement. We drove 3 and half hours from Busselton to Perth. We received our access card to our room, going up to our room it didn't look anything like the pictures on their site. Had trouble getting into room, the night attendant was very helpful. The hall way smelt like someone or something had died, once entering the room it looked not to bad. Then we looked in the rooms, one double bed had some black pieces of something in it and the other long strans of hair. The room was supposed to have been cleaned be with pulling back the covers of the beds found this. We call night attendant and said that we were not going to stay here at 10pm that night, he was more pissed off than us. We used the lift to go down to car park which looked like someone had killed a animal. I've taken videos of every think but there is a lot of swearing on there. We have sent emails after emails asking for our money back but with no luck. Monday we will be contacting accc about our stay with inner city apartments. People please avoid going to this motel not a nice place at all.

I absolutely love the service at City Stay, and also the rooms are great! I feel really comfortable here, All the staff are very friendly, and are very happy to help you out in anyway they can. If I am ever needing to stay somewhere again in Perth. I don't think I would even consider anywhere else but here.

New owners so service has improved. Food came in quick and the portion was great ! Would recommend the place for a rest and stopover before continuing shopping

I went to the Coffee shop today with my daughter and 2 granddaughters for lunch at 1pm. We ordered a ham, cheese and tomato toastie, a chicken and avocado toastie, chicken nuggets and chips and pancakes with just maple sauce , NO berries, ice cream or cream ...just plain old pancakes oh and a chocolate thick shake. Cost was $54 all up, not cheap.. We sat and waited probably 15 mins before the thick shake came out .... Lucy had finished that and still no food so I asked the waitress if we had been forgotten ?
No she said, it's on it's way. Lucy's nuggets and fries came out...then the waitress came over and asked granddaughter 2, did you want berries on your pancakes ? !! No she said, just plain.... my daughter was facing the servery and said whoops, youre going to be waiting a while Grace, they've put berries on them !! My daughters chicken and avocado toastie and Graces pancakes came next ....2 pancakes with maple syrup, cream and ice cream !!!! I thought it a bit rich $14.95 for 2 pancakes but shortly afterwards a third came out. I was still waiting for mine ... the family had all finished theirs so I went up to the counter once again ... Oh sorry said the waitress... it will be just 5 mins. The other waitress came out and cleared away all the dishes and my Ham cheese and tomato toastie finally came out 50 mins after ordering ! We will NOT be visiting Coffee Club again... rubbish service but have to say the food was quite nice when it finally arrived !

The wife and i had a chicken club sandwich and a Parmigiana respectively. The club sandwich's bread was dry and the bacon was rubber.
The Parmigiana was burnt. The sauce was actually chilli (Did not taste good either) and the burnt crust of the chicken tasted like it had CINNAMON in it.
The chips were Undercooked and unevenly seasoned.
My wife chose a ice coffee and i chose a fuze iced tea

The coffee was burnt and bitter and the only sweater added was ice cream which wasn't enough to make it taste good. Coffee club was not busy either so its not like they were under stress. at least the service was adequate.

My wife ordered the salmon and avo stack breakfast.The meal came out cold. The poached egg was overcooked with the egg yolk almost fully solidified. It wasn't pleasant to eat so she sent it back and got a refund and we left.
