We had a great week staying at The Adlerhof. The location is excellent, right near the train and bus stations and an easy walk into town. Our room was very cosy, the beds were very comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was great with a good selection of food and very friendly staff who replaced the items as soon as they ran out. We will definitely return here when we are next in Salzburg.....a lovely friendly hotel!

Customer service with the daytime front desk staff were simply excellent! Staff Vanessa and Allen (think both are South American) were courteous; extremely helpful pertaining to our queries! The breakfast were also great, I simply loved their waffles and not forgetting to mentioned the breakfast lady who is a blonde middle aged who cannot really communicate in English but her mannerisms and Customer attentiveness were really 100%! Kudos to the Adlerhof staff who really made my stay at Salzburg most wonderful! Thanks

Great base for getting around the city. Breakfast was always delicious and never ran out of anything (except to restock occasionally). Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall excellent value for money.

Conveniently located near train station, staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were not comfortable, pillows were wafer thin, walls not soundproof and rude people talking on their phone at five in the morning were particularly annoying.

Hotel staff were lovely and the hotel is very well situated for access to the downtown, though the immediate vicinity is rather seedy. Walls are very thin, though hotel staff did go around asking people to turn down their music at night. Beds are not very comfortable, unfortunately. Breakfast was okay, but the drink options are vile.

Room nice and clean. Hotel 200 metres from the train station and 15 minutes walk from the historic centre. Breakfast varied. Staff very friendly and willing to help.

The room smells like cigarette. We can hear the cars at night even with triple glazed windows. But all the rest is OK, nothing exceptional.

Price/performance is fine, the Breakfast delicious and the Service is friendly. however, I did get in 3 visits still not a bug free room.
when 1. Visit the heating didn't work (in the Winter). you gave me a space heater, but it was loud and weak.
2. Visit delivery the heating on the highest level and did not regulate what the room turned into a Sauna
3. Visit was easier to mold over the shower

This hotel doesn't treat customers well and had a bad attitude when serving foreigners. They are rude, impatient and with lousy manners. Please think twice before making a reservation. I don't even want to give them a star though you need to for leaving comments.

The hotel is placed conveniently for business travelers. You will get a decent size room, crazy view, and nice staff. We'll, most of them were nice. Lady who answered my call told I should bring a confirmation for me I travel for business (reservation manager told I didn't need any..). Then she added I may come without it, since she will not be here and another person will solve my problem. Great service for one of a few hotels kept open during lockdawn N+1 in Austria...

Neat and clean hotel with warm rooms. Perfectly located, surrounded by many restaurants like Doner kebab, McDonald's, Burger king etc, grocery and it is just one minute walk to the bus and train station. Almost all the buses goes via city centre, by walk it will take only 20 minutes. The breakfast offered here was yummy. Staffs here are friendly.

Staying here during the fall, reception was friendly and quick to help with our questions. Housekeeping was great. Also the location is superb right near the train station.

Would have given 5 star if it weren't for the cold treatment of one of the male receptionists.
We were there on 3rd October 2021 at 12 PM but the check in was at 2. The tall guy at the reception told us to come back at 2. No next steps on the luggage, no information on whether to wear the mask at the reception floor, no information on where to freshen up for the time being. We had to prod the receptionist for answers while he was being unhelpful. Finally he told us about the cloak room which we used.
The next receptionist was a very pleasant guy and he helped us to check-in at 2PM. He gave us all the information.
The food was great. The room was clean and tidy. The only complaint was the one receptionist.

Good hotel at a great location for a city trip. Easily accessed by bus after arriving at airport. Breakfast is perfect, all options available. View is great. Rooms are a bit out-dated with a shower in a bath.
