The hotel is nice, not far from the train station, about 10 minutes walk. Breakfast is not included this time, I don't know if it is good. The front desk is very enthusiastic and patiently helps with various matters.

The room was nice, and the breakfast was plentiful, though a bit pricey during the tourist season. We stayed here for three nights. This was my second time in Salzburg, and I still found it so wonderful

Lastly the much vaulted rooftop restaurant does not have a view, and service was appalling, preferring to provide service non Asian customers and neglect my table. And the server will retort you when you brought it up

The design of the bathroom was awkward, resulting in the floor outside of the shower cubicle to "flood" every time

Although old, they've been well-maintained. Cleanliness: Clean, tidy, and comfortable. However, the room hadn't been vacuumed on the second day, and there was trash on the floor. This isn't typical for a chain hotel

The hotel was very clean, and the bed was a perfect balance of firmness – a big plus. Upon check-in, I upgraded to a garden-facing room for an extra 20 euros at the front desk's request

The front desk staff were very kind 😊 I was even upgraded, and it was a wonderful stay! It's right behind Mirabell Palace, so it's very convenient, and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety and was a delight! The bathroom was also separated from the shower, and the underfloor heating was very warm

The hotel boasts a prime location, with Mirabell Gardens behind it and just over ten minutes' drive from the old town center

It's right next to Mirabell Palace, making it very convenient for attending concerts. Transportation is quite convenient. The breakfast is plentiful, but the service and value for money are just average.

The hotel is very near the train station; a short bus ride drops off at the stop that is a 2 minute distance from the hotel. Also very convenient to get to the town square and main shopping areas

We had the absolute best experience at the Hotel Sacher in Salzburg. After driving for nine hours from Switzerland, with the last couple of hours in the rain and the dark, we were greeted by Sylvester at 10:30 p

From start to finish, our stay was near perfect. Service is top- when I called down after testing the mattress and finding it too firm, two housekeepers arrived in minutes with fluffy mattress pads and extra pillows

Our room was exactly what we needed after a long travel day, plush bed, an extra comfy roll away for our daughter, soft pillows, delicious sweets and a handwritten note greeted us

We had a great view of the river, a fireplace, a super clean bathroom, a strong and hot shower - everything impeccable. Truly accommodating and kind staff. Sylvester made such a warm and wonderful impression on us

Sylvester was a shining beacon of everything this hotel is. He quickly and happily grabbed all of our bags, two huge suitcases, three backpacks and a duffle bag and had them in our room before we even got there

The service was excellent; check-in and check-out were very smooth. On the last day, one of us got sick and was allowed to stay in the room until 3 p. free of charge — something that cannot be taken for granted nowadays

We stayed at NH Collection Salzburg City with friends and had a great overall experience. The location is prime, everything is within easy walking distance, which made exploring Salzburg effortless

The food was very good with a nice variety to choose from. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though they could be a bit more spacious and benefit from better lighting

The location of the hotel was further away from the train station, but it is very close to the old town and most of the local attractions

The hotel itself has a history of hundreds of years. It has been renovated in an old house. It has a European palace grandma style. The suite is spacious and has an automatic toilet seat, which is rare in Europe

The room was clean, large, light and bright with views out onto Getreidegasse and Burgerspitalkirche St Blasius. Even though we were on the very busy Getreidegasse we did not have an issue with noise

The room is spacious and it was cleaned quickly every time we left in the morning/afternoon. The hotel bar is fun and the 2 restaurants are really good. This is one of my favorite hotels in Europe

I had booked a deluxe room and on arrival was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Junior Suite (room 78) which was located in an annexe building straight across from the hotel

Sometimes I can hear the sound of trains, but the scenery at the station is nice and the sound doesn’t affect my life too much. Great location! It won’t be dangerous to walk around the area by yourself

You can walk to the station/Mirabell Palace Gardens. The hotel restaurant next to it seems to have good reviews and there are many people queuing. In addition, there are many restaurants to choose from nearby

Walking distance to an old street and about 15mins walk to most of the attractions and museums (and a bus stop right in front to the station!) the hotel room is very clean with not many in-room amenities, however on the ground floor lounge they had 24hr free water, coffee and tea

Extremely close to the bus station, with a supermarket and shopping street right outside, which is super convenient. The only downside was that the triple room had a bit of a renovation smell

The staff were very friendly and spoke clear English. They also provided maps with directions to each tourist attraction and other fun activities. The room was quiet and facing inward (not directly on the main road)

The downstairs facilities are very complete, including a Western restaurant, a Chinese restaurant (Wenzhou cuisine), a sushi restaurant, and several souvenir shops selling chocolates, clothing, etc

Great service and helpful staff. We had a very spacious and quiet room, it has everything we need. The hotel is like old-luxury style located right at the center of the Salzburg old town

The location was great, and the room was really luxurious and nice. It was the most satisfying accommodation among the accommodations in Eastern Europe.

The location is very convenient, with two entrances, one near the river for easy access to the bus stop, and the other leading to the main street

The worst part was that, despite showing us a standard superior room on the third floor, a supervisor suddenly appeared and insisted that all the superior rooms on the third and fourth floors were fully booked, and that the available rooms we had seen were already reserved

He also said we could only get a room on the top floor, like a loft, or one on the ground floor with no windows. His attitude was extremely rude, and his words were very abrupt, suggesting serious discrimination

Beautiful environment and exquisite breakfast. Dinner can be had at the Glass Garden in the hotel. The hotel is built on the top of a mountain, and the castle can be seen opposite

Every single aspect was truly an exceptional five star experience. Dinner at the Glass Garden restaurant is NOT to be missed.

Until you show up to the Schloss. What do they have? Great pool. Grab a couple aperol spritzes and go for an underwater breathing competition. Skip the serve it yourself buffet and Order an omelette and some crepes

Rooms were great the bed was so comfortable! First full nights sleep since I started traveling! Amenities … free bus passes… we went to St Gilgen and St Wolfgang for free! Excellent! Oh and location is perfect

Design and decoration of the room and hotel was very nice. It was a bit hectic finding a spot to pull over to check in and take in our bags as this is a very busy area. Staff were very friendly and helpful

This was by far my favorite! I believe they gave us an upgrade to the fourth floor suite facing the beautiful street below. The front desk staff were fantastic, and the hotel was unique, cozy, and beautiful

I stayed in a single room, which was very clean and spacious for one person. The room was a bit dark, but it’s fine as I was out sightseeing most of the time. Would stay there if I go back to Salzburg in the future

But you cannot beat the very central location of this hotel, as most of Salzburg is reachable on foot. The concierge was very helpful and knowledgeable

We did not have breakfast included in our booking, so they offered us either "a la carte" or "anything you choose from the menu" for €25. The young lady serving us was just the nicest person and really pampered us

Our room was generous in size with adequate space for luggage. A personal welcome note came with some lovely chocolate and cookies. I would have liked the bathroom a bit bigger, but it's OK if you take turns

Location is not exactly in the Old Town, but a 15 min walk will get you there. The super helpful young man at reception got us a room although we arrived well before check-in time

They provided toiletries including soap, shampoo, and lotion. Their buffet breakfast was amazing with meats, fruits, cereals, juices, yogurt, cakes, bread, and more

The breakfast room is downstairs behind reception ; a pleasant space and the food was generous and delicious. Our only regret was that we only stayed for 2 nights

You will not be disappointed, I promise you!! One note on restaurants, if you get tired of Schnitzel there is an Irish bar and restaurant literally 30 feet from the front door of the hotel that is awesome

Its not worthy for that price. You have to pay another 15 euro per night for parking. The only plus is the distance to the city center.

It was comfortable that the shower, sink, and toilet were separated. The front desk staff was kind enough to help us with any items we left behind on the train. It was convenient because it was close to tourist spots.

Have visited this hotel now on four occasions, going again this December for the Christmas market. Breakfasts good, good selection. Staff brilliant, nothing too much trouble

The only flaws are the fact that it's divided into 2 different buildings (you have to cross the street to go to the restaurant if you're not in the principal one) and the fact that the water is super hot and you have to wait some time to let it get to the right temperature

Fabulous location and friendly staff. The hotel is old and my room specifically wasn’t very clean. However, for the price you pay and location you get I would still recommend and stay there again!
