Das Edlinger Hotel in Salzburg

The Edlinger hotel is situated a bit outside of Salzburg’s historic old town but this is probably one of its asset as one can relax and recover in quiet here, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist-crowded old town. Bus nr 1 to all the main touristic spots in Salzburg stops right in front of the hotel and the airport is also only a ten-minute bus drive away with bus nr 2 and the hotel provides mobility cards for free public transportation. The entire building is dedicated to the art of Günter Edlinger and all the rooms are decorated in a great pop-art style. Even the single rooms have comfortably large beds and the Nespresso machines are such a huge plus on mornings with early departure. Just as importantly, the Edlinger can be booked at fairly reasonable prices in a city that is becoming increasingly expensive so I would happily return here in the future.

Fantastic hotel. Very good value for money. Safe Very Clean friendly reception staff. Close to local - city centre. Plenty to explore and a good base to set off on foot. Great shopping in the city centre with plenty of designer shops brands. I thoughrely enjoyed my vist to Salzberg.

Clean-cut futuristic design, very friendly and helpful receptionists! For this price I can't complain :-)

Quite allright, free parking, wifi, breakfast, friendly staff, a little small rooms but good price / design

Location of the hotel was great - 5-10 min by bus to the city centre (even walking there was easy). The view from the room was stunning! The room was quiet and the bed comfortable, so we had great night sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions about attractions and transportation. The only odd thing was the architecture of the room - bathroom was with glass door (not even blur one), so can be a bit awkward if not a couple in the room. Also, the shower was fixed which for me is quite inconvenient.

Good clean rooms, friendly service, parking spaces were limited but otherwise all good and would recommend!!
