Had a lovely stay at Gasthof - Grüner Anger. It has that old house-homey feel and I loved it. I stayed in a single room with a balcony. The view from my room’s balcony was breathtaking! The room is spacious enough with TV and a wardrobe. The toilet/showers looked like it’s been just newly renovated. 👌🏼
It’s about 3-5min walk to Hallstatt Lahn/bus station/supermarket and 15min walk to the ferry station.
They serve free breakfast and for less than €100/night, I think that is a nice deal! The owners are also very lovely and accommodating! Will definitely come back to Hallstatt and stay in this place again.

We had 3 rooms and I have to tell - Amazing accommodation. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean (looks like new), confortable beds. Private parking, a lot of fresh food during breakfast. Dining room was also very clean and has great style. Owner was very pleasant and communication by email before our arrival was fine :). He also provided to us cable car discount. We could stay longer time in parking place after our check out. The best choice for us during our Hallstatt visit. Thank you

Close to the city, clean room including toilet and balcony. Breakfast was very rich and nice. Also free parking space.

Close to bus station and Salz Welten. Cozy and comfortable room with fast wifi speed. Friendly host. Yummy breakfast. It's a wonderful stay.

We quickly had to stop for a diaper change while the place was closed and our 4 month old baby was crying. We would have stopped for no more than 5 min. The owners kicked us out even though we explained the situation! This is not that’s the way to treat potential costumers and peoples in need. we will never go there in the future! Terrible experience and total lack of empathy!

Good location. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Plus you get free rides on public transport to nearby towns with a guest info slip from the guesthouse.

Very kind hosts, great location, very comfortable and authentic! I loved staying here and I would stay here again during my next Hallstatt visit.

Spacious clean rooms. Free WiFi, slippers (1 EUR per pair)and hot water pot. No refrigerator though.
