Great place ( family friendly)

The people working on the reception and restaurant are not so nice sometimes,,, the breakfast is not so special also. Also some amenities are lacking. It is not good access.

The hotel is in the middle of no man land by the Danube river. Unless you drive, you would find its location is not as good as it claims. There's only one bus connecting you to the city centre - with about 15 minutes ride, plus 5 to 10 minutes of walk to the bus stop. The path to the bus stop is not a pleasant walk and it's not recommended you walk on your own at night, especially if you are a female...

The location is great, about a 20-minute walk to the train station, but very close to the city center. You'll basically need no additional transportation costs. There are plenty of cafes nearby, and the food is quite good. The supermarket is closed on weekends, but other shops are open, so you don't need to worry about finding something to eat. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the main attractions. The place is clean and hygienic, and the buffet breakfast has a wide variety of food. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite this time.

The hotel’s biggest advantage is that it’s within walking distance of the center of Linz, which is why we chose it. Another advantage is the excellent breakfast. The downside is that the hotel is its age. I would really recommend a major renovation. For example, the carpet in the room is honestly disgusting! Hopefully It will be renovated soon.

The views from the hotel are very good. The location is fantastic. It's right on the Danube. The problem is the cleanliness which was poor. I would not stay here again. Trip thankfully had good customer service in this instance.

The service at the front desk was excellent, but unfortunately that’s where the positives ended. The room felt outdated and not properly cleaned (there was hair in the bathroom and a dead fly on the floor). The water temperature fluctuated, and the worst part was the constant drilling and repair noise starting at 8:30 AM. After working until 2 AM, the noon checkout time was meaningless when loud construction...

The hotel is okay for that kind of mid-range category. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is excellent, but the restaurant is overpriced for what it offers. However, I would like to address a complaint to the management regarding the check-in process. In the 21st century, with all the digitalization, every guest still has to fill out a paper form. Great courtyard hotel with good size room which is hard to find in Linz. Wonderful breakfast buffet with bacon eggs hash browns etc so you can start the day on full stomach. Very nice, clean, modern hotel with great facilities and staff. We had our dog with us and the room came with a dog bowl and a dog bed which was a lovely touch. Parking is great and gym is well equipped.

Great location, just a short walk from the city center. The staff were also very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was copious and fresh. The restaurant, while having a limited menu, was affordable with options for everyone.

Wonderful hotel located within a few mi minutes walk to the Cathedral. Room was spotlessly clean with a good size shower cubicle. Most importantly are the first class staff on the front desk who are willing to assist with any travel queries taxi bookings.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is perfect — right in the city center and very close to the train station, which made getting around so easy. The location in the old town was perfect with public parking beneath the hotel. The room was a little compact but comfortable, & had Coffee making facilities & a fridge. Unfortunately it was uncomfortably hot & the window didn’t open. Good shower but no magnifying mirror. The staff were friendly & the breakfast a typical continental breakfast.

Well presented bed and breakfast. Excellent staff and breakfast. A little distant from the center but no 19 bus takes you there in a few minutes so not a problem.

Stayed here a night on a trip from Germany to Romania. Very convenient location to the motorway, yet very quiet with a great restaurant and outside seating area. Parking is also available just by the property which makes it even more convenient. Rooms are very modern and clean

The hotel has standard rooms and is quite old. The rooms are well-equipped, but not luxurious. Parking is available on site. Breakfast is average. However, the room rate is reasonable.

Nice environment, convenient transportation, very rich breakfast

The year was 1996. We were in Linz for training at Voest Alpine. Stayed in this hotel for 70 days. There was a delightful old lady and her two sons looking after the place. It was modest but quite cosy. These days I can see a grill has come up. Happy to see the woodwork in the dining area remain the same. Also, the paint on the outside is still the same color. Very very tasty and correct price

This is such a great place to stay while in Linz. Friendly staff, great rooms, food is excellent and it has a bowling alley.

Rooms are very small and basic ( I booked cheapest single person ) No fridge in the room Breakfast is out of this world. Amazing Staff is very friendly and the restaurant I'm the hotel is very good with reasonable prices

Avoid 7th floor - had to walk 1 flight up from 6th floor as elevator only goes to the 6th not 7th floor. 7th floor feels colder - as it is the top floor and may not be well insulated. Original assigned room on 6th floor - mini fridge not working and no TV in living room

It is close to the Danube River and you can take a walk along the river. The facilities are good and clean.

Ok Good check in. Sadly the safe wasn’t working in the room, so we moved to another room and the safe didn’t work in that room either. There was only one pillow each. There was no cold water in the room only boiling water as the tap for the cold water wasn’t working. Reception were very apologetic and gave us a free breakfast.

We booked the hotel because of an Asian festival right next door. The Arte Hotel also has a very good location. Right on the Danube. You can walk across the bridge straight into the lively center, where you'll find everything you need. The nightlife is very lively on weekends. There's a garage for €19 a day, and you can drive straight from the garage to your room. There's a short-term parking zone...

It is a bit far from downtown Linz. The room is spacious and clean, but it is a bit cold. There was a small heater that I used, and it was very powerful. The bathroom drainage is poor. There are absolutely no amenities. There isn't even a refrigerator or kettle in the room.

Disappointing stay at this hotel. 1. Thermostat not working within the room were the ambient temperature I guess was around 25 degrees. As front desk to resolve and was advised that none of the thermostats within the hotel worked as it was centrally heated. Advise was to open the window...obviously the front desk rep would not have slept in this room with the window open to the traffic noise. 2. Paid...

The hotel is in a very convenient location, and Linz is relatively small, so many attractions can be reached on foot. However, it was difficult to find the entrance at first, because there was a restaurant as soon as you entered the hotel, and I thought it was a restaurant and walked past it, which was a bit confusing.

When I'm in Linz, I always come for a soy milk latte! I'm lactose intolerant. The staff is truly wonderful and kind. Plus, we're on the prettier streets of the city center with a slightly more sophisticated atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Great hotel at a great price. It’s located about halfway between the city centre and the train station. Easy 15-min walk to each. The rooms are quiet, clean, but nothing fancy. I loved the place. It has a very relaxed atmosphere that takes you out of the hustle and bustle of your stressful life. Environmentalism, fair trade and people are in the centre of their attention. It's a little far from Linz Station, but there's a bus stop right in front, so it's convenient to get around. There's also a SPAR nearby, so you can get your daily necessities there. If you go early for breakfast, there won't be many people around, so you can take your time.

The hotel has very nice breakfast and the hotel is monument time. The hotel is located right beside the shopping street which is very convenient with a lot of food choices before the shop is closed. We were stopping by Linz and found a lovely farm not far from the city center. We were given a large 3 bed apartment, very clean and very comfortable. The farm was beautiful with a large outside area available to guests including a children playground.
