The staff is friendly, the breakfast is excellent, but the restaurant is overpriced for what it offers.
However, I would like to address a complaint to the management regarding the check-in process. In the 21st century, with all the digitalization, every guest still has to fill out a paper form. Now imagine a group of 10–20 people arriving, already overwhelmed with obligations, and the check-in takes half an hour.
Couldn’t this be handled in a different way? For example, documents could be sent in advance as scans, and the room cards could already be waiting at the reception.
I’m sorry, but I must point out that this is already standard practice even in hotels of a lower category. I am in a different city and a different hotel almost every day, and every minute of my time is valuable.
And then there is the breakfast entrance as well — again you have to fill out a paper document and sign it. That is completely unreasonable.
Should a guest who has paid for their stay feel like they are standing at the counter of a government office, or like they are being treated with distrust?
