Most importantly are the first class staff on the front desk who are willing to assist with any travel queries taxi bookings.
The room itself was generally fine, but I had a few specific complaints that affected my comfort. First, the lighting situation was frustrating; there was no way to adjust the number of lights in the bedroom or the bathroom. It felt like it was either "all lights on" or pitch black.
Also, there were teabags provided in the room, but strangely, no electric kettle to boil water. The biggest issue, however, was the heating. It made a loud noise at night and couldn't be regulated, which made it difficult to sleep.
When I discovered it missing at my next destination, I immediately contacted the hotel. The staff promised to check and call me back, but they never did. I had to call several times, and every time I received excuses and zero real assistance. Even when I called at the time they suggested, they still had no information.
The staff was unprofessional, unhelpful, and completely indifferent. They failed to take responsibility or show any concern. Based on their attitude and the circumstances, I believe the item was stolen, not forgotten.
This experience caused me stress and inconvenience. If you value your belongings and expect basic professionalism, do NOT stay at Leonardo Boutique Hotel Linz.
Provision of more facilities such as welcome bottled water, electric kettle, more hangers would certainly improve guest experience.
