It is a bit far from downtown Linz.
The room is spacious and clean, but it is a bit cold. There was a small heater that I used, and it was very powerful.
The bathroom drainage is poor.
There are absolutely no amenities. There isn't even a refrigerator or kettle in the room.

Disappointing stay at this hotel.
1. Thermostat not working within the room were the ambient temperature I guess was around 25 degrees.
As front desk to resolve and was advised that none of the thermostats within the hotel worked as it was centrally heated. Advise was to open the window...obviously the front desk rep would not have slept in this room with the window open to the traffic noise.
2. Paid room tax by cash upon arrival and requested receipt for expenses and was advised i would receive this at checkout. So at checkout I was then advised the hotel had emailed the receipt to me and as you can guess I never received.
Front desk then advised it was being resent and likewise never received.
To the manager...I will ensure a return visit to your hotel in the coming weeks and expect you to refund my 4.50 Euros!

Located just four light rail stops from Linz Hbf and near the spacious, bright, and clean Linz AG Hotel, this place is a good option if you're looking for a short break during your stopover in Austria. It's also convenient for getting to Hallstatt.
