Basqal Resort & Spa in Lahic

Restaurants are lame, I don't mind paying 15-20 manats for burgers, but they better have some meat in them. My kid just ate top bun of cheeseburger. meat patty was covered in a mix of unknown sauces and butter. Too greasy and small patties. I believe meat patty should be at least the same size as bun. I was afraid to try anything western from their kitchen. Same applies for rast restaurant, it is not about uniform, it is about flavor and cuisine you serve. I believe they underpay all their employees, and that's what you get. And to top it off, why would you have outside patio full underage kids and every single table would have an ashtray for smokers. It is 21st century, smoking isn't cool anymore. My 3 year old kid was wondering what's ashtray for, I visited this place to relax, not to stress.

The place itself is quite nice — clean rooms, comfortable setup, and a generally pleasant atmosphere. However, the service was extremely disappointing. Several staff members were disrespectful and unprofessional throughout our stay, which ruined what could have been a good experience. To make matters worse, we ordered a teapot and waited over 90 minutes for it to arrive. We asked nearly ten times, but it was never delivered. Even after multiple reminders, the staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful. It’s unfortunate, because the hotel has potential — but unless management seriously improves staff training and customer service, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values professionalism and respect.
