Stayed at Macara Lake Village Resort and overall had a good experience. The rooms were fine and comfortable for a night’s stay, but honestly, not having a smart TV in 2026 was a bit disappointing and kind of a shame.
The views were stunning, and the resort has a lot going for it when it comes to outdoor space. There were plenty of activities and areas to enjoy, like a football court, park, and open spaces, which was really nice. The outdoor areas were clean, well-maintained, and pleasant to walk around.
The washrooms were a bit old but still okay and usable. Breakfast was great with lots of options, which was a big plus. The only small downside was the walk from the room to the breakfast restaurant—a bit of a meh, but not a big deal overall.
All in all, a nice resort with beautiful surroundings and good facilities, just a few things that could be modernized.🫤

Rooms were as hot as sauna. So was the tap water in the bathroom . Breakfast - so called buffet - 7 of 10. Nature is beautiful, air is clear, stars all over the night sky.

It was a nice stay but they are not honest. I filed a complaint about the theft of Emirati money worth 2000 dirhams, which is 500 US dollars. I will file a complaint against the hotel if the hotel management does not contact me.

Absolutely amazing stay at Macara Resort in Quba! The location is stunning—surrounded by mountains and nature, it's the perfect escape from the city. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Great facilities, delicious local cuisine, and a peaceful atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

What a property!!!!you will be blown away with this property. I mean it. You can just stay and relax, do some hiking, boating , a nice walk within the property. Rooms are big and luxurious. I loved my stay. View of the lake and mountain from the hotel was mesmerising. I wasn’t feeling like leaving from this property

The property is located 20 min drive from Quba city, and situated inside a large reserve forest area. It has a quite large spa offering various massage therapies and very large indoor pool. A walk around the property is quite an awesome experience. Their break fast spread is quite good with a lot of local jams and preservatives

Excellent hotel luxurious with an amazing view to the lake, rooms are spacious and very clean , room service always available for a turn down, the staff was very nice and helpful especially Sadia , the breakfast was various and very tasty , parking available, I recommend this hotel for anyone who want to spend few days far away from the city in the heart of the nature with a very good service
