Hotel Louisa in Oostende

Comfortable and Friendly in a Good Location
Comfortable and friendly hotel in the north central part of town around a 10 minute walk from the railway station. There are many bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood including the Botteltje which is across the road and the beach is a 3 minute stroll, two blocks away. A wide selection of options are available at breakfast time at the hotel and are well worth it. Staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable for local info as are the staff at the tourist information office on langestraat opposite the Kursaal ******

Registering on arrival was not helpful because we were told that, although we were early (which we knew) the rooms would be available at 11.30am On our return we were told through the intercom system that it would be 12.30 Eventually we returned after 3.00pm and then were able to register. Fortunately we were able to leave our luggage on our first visit and did not have to keep it with us until 3.00pm

We have stayed there before and liked it and wanted to go back there.Thanks.

Charming hotel in excellent location
Helpful and friendly staff. Ideal location, very central and just around the corner from the Christmas market.

Located in the heart of Oostende, this hotel is a has quite a bit of charm of the old days (art-deco dining room and many original details in the public spaces). Interiors of the rooms are a little bit more modern, albeit the age starts showing. The room was, however, clean and tidy. The owner/manager was very nice and offered an option to check in later than originally planned. She also offered guidance around the town, and was overall super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty and set us up for the day rather well, Disliked · I would consider starting renovations as soon as possible, as the rooms are ageing and this translates into some things being broken or on the verge of being broken. WIFI didn't quite work.

We stayed here when our car broke down and the lady who I think is the owner went above and beyond to help us in anyway possible . Really is such a lovely woman . The hotel is perfect location with nice spacious room and bathroom . Bed very comfy, all on all a perfect place to stay. Me and my girlfriend rate this hotels hospitality the best we have ever stayed in

Very nice

Very near to the beach, small but cozy and especially very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful and recommended us a free parking spot to save some money so we didn't need to park in the expensive parking spots near the beach. Quiet hotel during the week but it can be a bit noisy around the hotel during the weekends due to the many visitors coming to Oostende and because the hotel is very central. Wifi wasn't working in our room and parking situation is a bit tricky hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
