Outstanding hotel and without hesitation I can say this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Europe to date. Wonderfully friendly staff, superb facilities and refinements and the rooms are presented to an exceptionally high standard. I would not consider anywhere else when returning to Ghent as this place was incredible
It was a surprisingly satisfying hotel. First of all, the price on weekends was not expensive. From the moment I entered the hotel lobby, I discovered the beauty of this place. The overall design was very good. The room was large and clean. Opposite was the ancient and mysterious building of Ghent. I regretted staying only for one night.
Fabulous. The stay was unbeatable. Not only because of the great location, right in the city center next to the town hall, but also because of the attentiveness of the staff. They responded to any request with a speed I haven't found in any other hotel.
The room, at least ours, had a stunning view, was tastefully decorated, spacious, and very well insulated from noise.
The common areas were spacious...
Beautiful hotel, excellent service, in main town area walkable to everywhere. Loveeee
Spacious room, friendly reception, great location
The hotel service is good, the staff is very enthusiastic and helps to call a taxi.
The room is clean, slippers, conditioner, toothbrush are provided
The breakfast is a bit expensive, but there are many options overall, it's worth a try

Gent, Maaltekouter 3, 9051 St-Denijs Westrem (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
We arrived and immediately were charged 15 euros for the parking plus city taxes. I tried to explain city taxes had been charged already without success and so i paid all as I wanted to finally rest with my family
When going to my room on the second floor realised there is renovations going on and the view is of a digger as the picture shows
Also this is a family room and very small for four people...
Generally the cleanliness of lobby floor public areas and room were above average 👍🏻👍🏻
Need to be careful when driving into that expo , ikea and the hotel zone as they located along with each others and shared the same directory board which the indicator bit small you might miss the hotel car park entrance
The front staff he is super friendly and helpful 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I would say the amenities is worth for...
Nice but could be better furnished
A bit far away from the city but if you drive, never a problem. Happy stay.
The hotel is located in the center of Belgium, making it convenient for travelers to visit the three major cities of Bruges, Ghent and Brussels. The rooms are spacious, the environment is peaceful, and the staff are friendly.
Nice and clean hotel. Room with sofa bed was wide and comfortable

Everything was great except it is too close to ghent festival. Wish there could be a note about that before booking so we can know the situation before booking.
Checked in early, the room was clean and tidy, luxurious, and cost-effective. There is a Starbucks downstairs, which is very convenient for drinking coffee and having breakfast. The front desk lady is very beautiful and has a very good service attitude.

Receptionist very nice , super nice location ,but some hair can find in towel and bed
Great location, has an underground parking which is very convenient if you’re traveling by car. Breakfast was good, rooms were a bit old but clean
Great location right next to old town Ghent. Big room and clean. Good breakfast and friendly service. Parking is very expensive though at €40 per night. Otherwise it's a great hotel

Great hotel, decor a bit outdated but great location, great breakfast
The hotel is located in the old town, close to the attractions, just a few minutes' walk away. Ghent has beautiful scenery, just walk along the river. At sunset, take a boat tour on the river and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the river bank day and night. There is a local market in the big square next to the hotel, which is only open on Friday mornings.
I stayed only 1 night, the location is very good. A clean and spacious room. The sound insulation is poor but the hotel is in a quiet area. I had communication with the reception and restaurant staff, I encountered warm and helpful attitudes.
Nice hotel, in the center on the edge but still easy to reach, parking Friday market just a stone's throw away.
Very spacious room, large bed, mini bar, coffee facility, bathroom with bath and shower, beautiful view of the water.
Friendly staff at reception, less so at breakfast.
Nice breakfast room on the 3rd floor with a view over Ghent and the water.
Breakfast buffet good but not luxurious.
This...
The transportation is convenient, the decoration of the hotel rooms is unique, the service is friendly, it is suitable for business and tourism, the only disadvantage is that there is no bathtub, but the bathroom is spacious and modern, no bad reviews
Hotel in a great location.
No private parking, an underground parking garage is a 5-minute walk away. take into account a high rate.
We paid from Saturday morning to Monday morning, 42 euros.
Don't arrive too late, after 11am the car park is full on Saturday,

The location is very good. There is a Carrefour supermarket nearby. It is very convenient to go to the city.
Well located for public transport to the station and to walk into town. Clean and quiet. A bit poky in size, even for a solo traveller. No tea and coffee facilities in the room, but a kettle was promptly provided on request. Very helpful, friendly staff.
The room is too small. I can touch the door when I turn around. The breakfast is good. The price is reasonable. The transportation around the hotel is convenient.
The room is too small, especially the wash basin. The shower room is not designed properly.
The service is warm and thoughtful, and the room is slightly small.
Overall it's good, very close to the city center and convenient for travel. The socket has USB, even if you don't bring an adapter, it will be fine. The breakfast is rich. The disadvantage is that the room is small, suitable for one person, but it can also be used for two people, and the bathroom is very crowded. Hygiene needs to be improved, there are still residues on the toilet seat😭

The hotel service is OK
The breakfast is so-so
The location is quite good, opposite the St. Bavo Cathedral
The only thing that worries me is that the hotel room is too small, and the suitcases can't be opened
Excellent check-in service (arrived at 1am), average room (very comfortable pillows), bathroom a bit small (but fine for one night, maximum two), excellent breakfast. And then you leave the hotel and you are in the center, or rather... very center! Splendid location! The price is not a gift, but that's okay.
Breakfast was good! Great location.
It couldn't be more central. They asked me if I wanted a quieter interior room or an exterior one. I asked for the latter and what a view! A marvel from that point of view, perfect.
The bathroom was tiny, but the shower was new and you could hear the neighbours because the rooms are very close together. Something strange, in the room the heating system is like the old air conditioning and it was noisy...
Fantasies location, literally next door to the cathedral. Breakfast was pretty good, especially the make-your-own waffle machine. Free luggage storage. The photo of the hotel is from outside the cathedral.
If you are sensitive to smell, please avoid this store. A fermented smell filled the corridors and rooms... The price is higher than the NH in the next block...
PPS The NH in the next block is a new store, with large rooms, new facilities and lower prices than ibis... I highly recommend it.
In addition, it is recommended that you drive to find a parking lot in advance & it is best to have full insurance...

Ghent is a beautiful little town. The hotel is three or four kilometers away from the city center, close to the highway.
The standard room or double room is very small, about 15 square meters, and two small suitcases can't be put in. The breakfast is simple, enough to eat, but there are few choices. The good thing is that there are many large supermarkets nearby, and the hotel has charging stations, which is quite convenient for people traveling by car.
Spacious and comfortable room. Quiet. Excellent breakfast with sweet or savory options. Very friendly staff. Excellent value for money.
Location is good and room is clean. It's a pity that parking cost Eur 19,- a day.
Location was a nightmare for getting around. Seems the bus doesn't go past there on weekends so it's a 40min public transport with walking into the town, or a 20ish euro taxi.
Other than that, a standard holiday inn stay, got everything you need. Good shower. Comfy beds. Clean.
It is more difficult to provide services in Europe. Accommodation is OK

Good stay for such price, room is basic. Best is the location as very convenient.
Great location and walking distance to all nearby spots.
The bathroom in the room is different from the photo, the quality is poor, and there are no slippers in the room.
Great stay and fantastic sauna. Good breakfast and friendly staff
Perfect location near tram stations and lively streets. Lovely and helpful hotel staff, amazing rooms and good ammenities. It's a perfect hotel for small trips look nowhere else! Also rooms have great view of the cathedrals :)
Location and the property are very nice nearby all the highlighted spots.
House keeper is very helpful. (Room entry card was not working, I got a big help from her.)
I deducted 1 point from the service of reception once she ignored my request of small spoon.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the castle and suitable for walking. There is a tall lady at the front desk who is very enthusiastic. It is a five-star service when she is there. The hotel is also very clean and reasonably priced. It is worth staying.
Beautiful room,
fantastic location,
very good breakfast, unfortunately only until 10am during the week.
The room is clean and tidy and quite big. The price is relatively cheap in the surrounding area and the location is very good.
The old town of Ghent, with the castle and moat outside the window, has a first-class view
The main problem is that the room is very small and the service is almost non-existent.
We were very pleased with the hotel. First of all, it is in a great location. When we got tired while wandering, we immediately went to our room, stretched our feet for 15 minutes and continued our tour. The cleanliness of the room, the facilities and the breakfast made me wonder why this hotel should be 3 stars or at least 4 stars. The staff also provided an excellent service and we left really happy...

Nice hotel, extensive breakfast, very centrally located. Parking nearby.
Very good. Close to all you need.
Would recommend it to anyone staying in Gent
Small room, quite ordinary. Clean and with good service.
This hotel has nothing except the front desk. It is almost like a homestay. The rooms are not on the same floor as the front desk. Apart from its excellent location, there is nothing else worth recommending. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know how it is listed as a four-star hotel.
The hotel in downtown Ghent is not bad. I was given a loft model, but I like it very much. Anyway, I don’t stay in the hotel all day. I can try it out next time I come.

Lovely place! We did a one night break to go around Ghent, when driving back home from the Netherlands, and certainly we regret we didn't stay longer :-)
It was nice to be in a neighborhood away from the crowds. Far from the square but easy to bus to
The staff member at check in was very welcoming and helped us plan a lovely day in Ghent.
Great for a family - not swish or posh
We had a nice one night stop over with a massive room for our family of 5. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It is an odd building and pretty tired. Very ‘Fawlty towers’ / art deco / retro. Could be cleaner. We did not eat there. Easy metro to the centre of Ghent which is truely beautiful.
Fantastic stay for my 3 days. Plenty of parking and a very pleasant walk into the town, although it is around 30 minutes away. Easy access to the St Pieters train station. Excellent sized rooms, comfortable and clean.
The front desk staff was very nice, and the property was very clean and beautiful. The area was quiet residential area which was good for us. Only one small thing is my sister's and mom's cosmetics disappeared from their luggage. Besides that, the hotel is superb.

Great location (close to a beautiful park, on biking or bus distance from downtown Gent), beautiful rooms, very nice owners.
Welcoming, organised and super clean ! We would recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a relaxing break. Standard room. Perfectly fine as a cheap and cheerful no frills room for the night. Furniture and fittings had a fair bit of wear and tear but the room was spacious and it's a really convenient location thanks to its proximity to the station.
The one downside is the bed: rather than a double it's two singles pushed together which is quite awkward if you want to cuddle up with your partner in the night
We stayed there for 4 nights at the end of May 2019 and with a large group of 27. We had rented a conference room which was nicely set up and ready to go for our group. Top rooms with ditto beds and very neat upon arrival! It is a top location in the heart of Ghent that is still easily accessible. Excellent place. The seats outside were all taken, so we got inside. It was amazing to watch the people that work here. I have mixed feelings about the place and had a difficult time deciding on a rating.
