Clean and comfortable, recommended
The room I was given was on the first floor. There was a factory in front of it, which made a constant buzzing noise day and night. The curtains on the windows did not block out the light, which affected my sleep.

The hotel is very similar to the hotel from a Japanese horror game, very atmospheric, but in the bathroom there are cobwebs and dust in the corners, but otherwise a good night's sleep!
Motel, poor soundproofing in the room, difficult to rotate the blinds, relatively remote
Definitely very friendly and helpful service! It’s peaceful and quiet at night as well.

We had a great stay at Fred and Breakfast airBnB. Fred was a very friendly and welcoming host, making us feel right at home. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the Airbnb is perfectly located within walking distance of the city center. Highly recommended!
Owners are very lovely and helpful, place is clean, all the amenities works and place is hotel like (it is guest house), but you will have private entrance and much of privacy, they also have very sweet bar and garden (where you can smoke as well)
Only one down side was in the summer flies eats you 😜 so better to have insect repellent
This B & B is within walking distance of the city centre via some quiet sidestreets & is run by very friendly staff. Our room was a good size, well decorated & had a well appointed ensuite shower & toilet. The staircase up to our room was steep & it was disappointing to find that the breakfast is charged as extra.
Fred and Lorenzo greeted us warmly and went out of their way to assist us throughout our stay. Their hospitality made our experience truly memorable. Additionally, they kindly accommodated our request for an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated.
The accommodation itself exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and convenience. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, providing a relaxing...
I've spent a couple of days here with my wife and son and the place it's lovely. Large rooms with a nice bathroom. Child friendly. The place is located in a quiet zone of the city and have a lovely view for the outside. It's right in front of the river. Fred (owner) is a friendly guy always ready to help or give useful information.

It was noisy and the staff were not there most of the time, but other than that it was a great and affordable option to stay.
The best thing about this hotel is that it's right next to the train station, just a three-minute walk away. It's incredibly convenient for travelers with large suitcases. The owner is also very helpful.
Very close to the station and other public transport.
No tea/coffee making facilities.
No shampoo or soap provided.
Very noisy from railway operations 24/7
Very good access to the station, however staff did not speak English so it was hard to communicate.
No elevator, so keep in mind if you have a heavy luggage.
The sink in the room was so miniature, that it was hard to even wash the face.
On the positive side, there are public rental bikes parking spots nearby, so very convenient to ride somewhere if the destination is not too far.
There was a weird...
Great location, staff are nice & helpful.
Environment is good, not noisy.

Staff was exceptionally helpful, room was spotless, and location was excellent. Would recommend for fellow travellers; the 4 person room was perfect for our needs.
Very good location. Staff were fantastic. Room was slightly dated but great size and had amenities we needed.
Very small room but lovely and warm and incredibly clean. Would definitely stay again. Staff incredibly helpful and kind.
Was excellent. Staff fabulous. Room was perfect for our stay of 3 nights. I would absolutely come back. Thank you from Canada
The staff was incredibly helpful with anything I needed, the attached restaurant was excellent, it’s super close to some really amazing places, but tucked away enough to be quiet in the evening. Extremely comfortable beds and coffee in the room!
This place is a Gem

Huge comfortable room. Not too many stairs. Breakfast cooked to order. Excellent location.
The hotel is close to center. Good direction far a restaurant. Breakfast beyond expectation. Fabulous. Bathing in a slippery bathtub could be improved.
Friendly and helpful staff in rather Old fashioned facility.
A traditional older European hotel. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was great. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Room had cable tv and internet service. Not the most modern hotel, but surprisingly quiet and relaxing.
As a solo traveler, I highly recommend this Hotel. Well located, great breakfast and super nice staff.
Nice well placed hotel in historic building
Nice well placed Hotel in historic building. We stayed in room 3 which was spacious and comfortable. Nice breakfast room with usual continental options as well as eggs cooked how you want them (ie omelette, scrambled, boiled). Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again if in Ghent

I stayed 4 nights here and it was convenient to travel around the main cities of Belgium. The train station is really close and you can go easily to Bruges, Anvers, Brussels, etc.
We both had suites which were roomy & comfortable & we had a great night on the massage loungers with our drinks between us. The owner was very helpful, helping park my car & even backed it out onto the road for us since the space was so tight & allowed us to book in early.
Ideally a great location for people who have to catch the train. Unfortunately I was not there to catch the train, and I had to travel to Evergem for business. Colleague insisted on booking this hotel😳😳.
The room was spacious and clean. I suspect that the owners put away the airco remote so that the guests couldn’t use it without their blessing. The soundproofing part can be improved as I could hear...
The room size is very good, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the location is nice, you have a train station just nearby if you want to go to Brussels or Bruges, and the bus station takes you to the center in 10 minutes.
The downsides, The lighting in the room is dim, there is no fridge and there is no AC, in October it was fine but I think in the summer it'll not be easy, they mention the parking...
Good room, small elevator. Cold Jupiler on the vendingmachine. The manager had a parrot on his shoulder. Way better than the cost would tell.

Great place if you want a simple room. It’s nothing special or luxurious but the rooms have everything they need and are clean. It’s also close to the train station but not too close to be noisy. The owner is also very nice.
Friendly staff. Good services.
Excellent for proximity to train station. <30 min walk to center or uni. Very friendly and helpful guys at front desk. Has Indian-Nepali restaurant/bar attached, but I didn't tty it. Clean and comfortable room. Only negative was dilapidated light well 'view.' Preferred to close curtains and pretend there was no window.
Excellent for proximity to train station, right across circle. Walk
...but I know for sure that this hotel is average, nothing more. It's clearly been a while, and especially the common areas could use a serious refresh! The room had a nice, large bed, more than decent sheets, and a working bathroom. It's fine for one night. I didn't pay, so I can't comment on the value for money. Or even on the breakfast.
I had a third floor double, with elevator access, but still with 5 stairs, in case that’s a problem. Very basic hotel, but everything works OK, and it was clean with a comfortable bed with thin pillows. Had a cube refrigerator, a little weak. Good location.
It seems a little overpriced on the face of it, but in fact, nothing is really better in town short of hostels. Gent is a very expensive city...

Hotel is quaint, in a period building with high ceilings and creaky floorboard. Staff were helpful, parking in their garage convenient, and the neighbourhood was quiet. TV didnt work, nor the Bathroom light, but the receptionist fixed the latter and we didn't bother to mention the TV. Main negative was the very bad smell from the drains in the bathroom, and the lack of air con.
Interesting character property that could probably do with a bit of a refresh. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed. A couple of minor flaws, wiring was visible on the ceiling light, and the window frames had seen better days. I will probably stay elsewhere next time I am in Ghent.
Very nice small hotel! Breakfast was amazing. The room was comfortable, the area is beautiful, and we happened upon a small festival in the city center. We plan to stay again if we are ever in Ghent in the future!
Great stopover in good location Ghent
Great hotel friendly staff and clean comfortable room.

Big and clean rooms, great location (right next to a tram station) and view outside the window. High quality slippers provided. Not so expensive compared to other hotels in Ghent. Warm welcome with lots of gifts. The structure of the building and the room is very interesting.
Drawbacks: A little bit dark inside at night. The window could not be closed completely. Some of the rooms have a toilet downstairs...
Great place, perfect location, cool rooms with style.
Difficult to get timely taxis, plan ahead.
Full of design sense, the hotel converted from an old building has a sense of history and is located in the center of Ghent. The interior of the hotel is full of old money style, and the British service is thoughtful and detailed. It is a hotel that exceeds expectations. I am very satisfied 👍
Although the room is a bit small, the ceiling is very high. Across the window is the church. The welcome letter is definitely in Harry Potter style, and the room card is also full of design sense.
Gorgeous charming hotel with excellent service!
It's like living in Hogwarts, so great! The carriage is a duplex room, with a window facing the church. You can watch the sunrise while lying in bed early in the morning. During the day, you can sit downstairs and make a pot of tea and sing on the street. It couldn't be more perfect~~

Loved everything except for the bed.
King room was 2 twin beds pushed together with no attempt to combine them. Separate sheets, blankets, pillow tops, etc. it made for a hard night of sleep for someone who tosses and turns.
Fabulous location, staff amazingly polite and helpful. Rooms clean and lovely. Great atmosphere.
Parking garage is incredibly convenient. We had a huge balcony off our room. Fun vibe in the lobby. Only drawback is slightly removed location from historic area. Happy with the hotel though!
This hotel was the most comfortable I stayed at during my European trip. The location was excellent, the front desk staff were very welcoming and attentive, the room was clean, bright, and stylishly designed, and it was very quiet; I slept very well.

Fantastic location, very central. Room was huge and very clean. Very pleasant staff. However, they need to add hooks where one can hang towels or clothes in the bathroom. I would like to thank the gentleman who welcomed me yesterday. He was friendly and attentive, reminded me to pay for parking on time, and helped me register in the low-emission zone.
Very spacious and clean, 5 minutes from the train station and a 20-minute walk from the city center. Breakfast was limited but very good, and Michel's friendliness at reception was outstanding!
Perhaps it is the accommodation closest to the train station, about a 20-minute walk from the scenic area;
The room is clean and comfortable, there is delicious coffee, the bedding is comfortable to sleep on, the service staff is friendly and kind, I will stay there again if I have the chance... . . . . . . . . .
It's about a 12-15 minute walk from the train station and slightly closer to the Flix bus station. The area is quiet, but the lack of shops makes it difficult to buy or eat.
