There where bed bugs and got bites all over me

Took De Lijn bus 11 to the city centre after arriving by Flixbus. Stop at Gent Sint Jacobs to walk to the hotel which is near to NH Collection hotel
At first sight of Ghent, it looks awesome with huge Cathedrals, lovely buildings.....all could be seen by walking in a compact area.
Cour St Georgs hotel is a good choice for us as it is near to all the attractive buildings, canal, Castle of the Counts,......

I really wanted to love this hotel. The location is perfect and the room design itself is actually quite nice. However, I cannot recommend staying here due to a serious hygiene issue.
I killed two fleas during my one-night stay. I found the first one before sleeping, but due to exhaustion from travel, I didn't report it immediately. Unfortunately, I woke up to find another one on me. When I killed it, it was full of blood. Worse yet, my forehead is swollen, confirming that I was bitten while I slept.
It is a shame because everything else about the hotel was good, but a flea infestation is a major health hazard that needs immediate professional attention.

Took a tram from the train station to hotel. Tram stop to hotel needs 10mins walk, the brick road was difficult to walk with suitcase. The hotel location is perfect to all attractions. Room is big and clean. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was good.
