The worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Dirty, terrible smell in the hallways and in the rooms! The pillows and mattress are disgusting, the blankets are dirty and without duvet covers! The carpet in the room is dirty and sticky, your feet stick! No slippers, kettle, not even a mini-fridge! The room on the third floor overlooks the railroad tracks! There is no soundproofing in the room! I couldn't sleep all night because of the noise of the trains and the screams under the windows!

I stayed 4 nights here and it was convenient to travel around the main cities of Belgium. The train station is really close and you can go easily to Bruges, Anvers, Brussels, etc.

We both had suites which were roomy & comfortable & we had a great night on the massage loungers with our drinks between us. The owner was very helpful, helping park my car & even backed it out onto the road for us since the space was so tight & allowed us to book in early.

Ideally a great location for people who have to catch the train. Unfortunately I was not there to catch the train, and I had to travel to Evergem for business. Colleague insisted on booking this hotel😳😳.
The room was spacious and clean. I suspect that the owners put away the airco remote so that the guests couldn’t use it without their blessing. The soundproofing part can be improved as I could hear people flushing their toilets.
Don’t know how much we paid for breakfast but the breakfast was very shabby, which is understandable given the number of rooms this hotel has.
Anyways, if you are catching a train early in the morning, it’s pretty okay. If you wish to see the city a bit, I’d go somewhere else.

We had a bad time at this hotel: everything needs renovation, old furniture with corresponding smell in hotel room and corridors, large brown stain in the shower, no proper bed linen (see photos), bad mattress, tiny pillows, broken and sticky hairdryer,
shower head that needs replacing and unfriendly personnel.
Not worth the price by any means.

Finally, if you do choose this hotel, note that you will need at least half an hour to get to the city center on foot.

We booked a suite with a jetted tub. Very spacious room with good bedding and very clean. However, the hotel is opposite the train tracks and the quality of the chassis leaves something to be desired. In fact, we could hear the trains passing as if they were in the room, with the windows closed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is pretty basic.

The room size is very good, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the location is nice, you have a train station just nearby if you want to go to Brussels or Bruges, and the bus station takes you to the center in 10 minutes.
The downsides, The lighting in the room is dim, there is no fridge and there is no AC, in October it was fine but I think in the summer it'll not be easy, they mention the parking is free, but it's actually paid street parking from Monday-Saturday 9h-19h

Good room, small elevator. Cold Jupiler on the vendingmachine. The manager had a parrot on his shoulder. Way better than the cost would tell.
