I really liked the hotel and the service provided

The hotel is quite nice, very close to the beach and right next to the police station, just in case. There are many places to shop nearby, and the beaches of Ipanema and Leblon are also quite close.
The only issue was that the room I stayed in smelled strongly of damp, but overall it was quite good. I hope they can improve this.

Beware of scammers!
I want to share an important experience regarding my reservation throw Booking.com.
During my stay planning, I received a WhatsApp message asking me to confirm my reservation within 24 hours, otherwise it would be canceled. The message included a link to a page that already contained my personal booking details, including my name, travel dates, price, and the hotel name. The page asked me to enter my credit card details in order to confirm the reservation.
Since this looked suspicious, I contacted the hotel twice through Booking.com to ask whether the message was legitimate and if any action was required from my side. Unfortunately, both times I received the same generic response warning about scams and advising not to click external links, without confirming whether the message was related to my reservation or explaining how my booking details could have appeared on that page.
Because the page contained accurate information about my booking, the situation was quite concerning. At the time it appeared to be a very convincing phishing attempt. Currently, the link is no longer accessible.
I believe it would be very helpful for guests if the hotel could provide clearer communication and more specific assistance in situations like this, especially when a potential security issue involving booking information is reported.

The rooftop pool is fantastic, with good views of the ocean, Copacabana, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the favelas to the side. The hotel itself is fine, with a typical breakfast – eggs, cheese, ham, fruit, cereal, yogurt, tea, coffee, and juice.

Solid hotel with very good location. Everything is good rather than excellent but not bad value overall. Rooms were surprisingly quiet given where the hotel is situated. Staff are very helpful.

My crew had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and the maids do a terrific job with the daily cleaning. Kivya and Lucas were super helpful at front desk, check in was simple and they were always there answer questions and did everything to make our stay the best we have had in Rio. The included breakfast was wonderful, excellent variety and a special shout out to Rosemarie and Nataiane who were excellent hosts at the breakfast every day. This location is great too, close to Copacabana beach with Ipanema also very walkable. There is a pool on the rooftop with the most beautiful views. We look forward to returning.

It features a cozy environment, light touch in the decoration, good servicing. The dishes are typical from Brazil. It does stand out among others in town.
