It was within walking distance from Santos Dumont Airport. I was able to walk there during the day and it didn't feel unsafe.

Hotel located across from the Las Américas Highway. The highway has heavy traffic, which is very bothersome. The hotel's exterior metalwork is basic and doesn't provide good sound insulation. The breakfast buffet is basic, similar to any other hotel of a lower category; the only difference is a slightly wider selection of pastries.

For transportation, you can take tram No. 1 and No. 4 and then transfer to the subway to go to various tourist attractions. The hotel is close to the bus station. It only takes about 10 yuan to get to the bus station by taxi. It is not far from several attractions and is close to the Maracanã Stadium. The hotel room is not big and you can see the sea.

Hotel is right in the middle of down town near all the things you would want to do. But it is outside of main touristy area, so not a lot of restaurants/amenities near by. Was great for Carnaval being able to walk to Sambadrome and skip the crazy traffic.

The facility isn't great value for money, given that it's considerably small for the price. Still, it's well-located and very clean. My biggest complaint is the check-in process, which was extremely slow; I waited almost an hour in line to check in.

Very small room and no minibar or phone to call reception. 220V sockets so you can't dry your hair. They only have 1 adapter to lend and it was already borrowed. Bad service. Coffee costs 57 reais but there isn't enough variety to charge that price.

The Location is just next to Cinelandia and Lapa in the City Center. The service at the reception was not so good.. You had to wait untii 3 p.m and you could deposit your baggage only upon paying! Actually much beyond my expectation. Very good WiFi connection. Very near to the Metro station. Comfortable shower room. Most importantly in general feel quite safe to stay here. The route to the metro station is also a generally safe one (maybe in the evening use Uber to further lower the risk.) Recommend to people who want to discover the historical region of the city more!

The location is very close to copacabana beach. However the beach is not as great as what their popularity had.

Our experience was so-so. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. We were assigned an old room with a noisy air conditioner and an uncomfortable bed. From 9 AM onwards, the floor above us sounded like it was being 'demolished' by a jackhammer or something similar; the noise was so unbearable it felt like it was inside our room. We had to leave.
