Room was spotless, staff was incredibly hospitable and food was great, fresh fruits, fresh juice and flavourful coffee.

I really loved this hotel and would highly recommend. The attention to detail was amazing. I have travelled with Belmond before but this was by far the best experience I have had.

Everything was perfect as always at the hotel. And if you're going to have dinner, choose Pergula, it's delicious, because ME is awful.

Everything was spectacular, except for one day when there was a problem with the boiler, but the rest was divine.

The hotel is wonderful, which is just a bit of a hindrance and the issue of parking is not available at the hotel itself, when it is crowded, you have to put it on the street in front or in its surroundings, other than that, the hotel itself is great.

The room was nice with beautiful views from the balcony. I enjoyed my stay and I would stay again ! :).

All the staff is friendly and attentive. The food and drinks from the restaurant are great, ambience is swanky.

The modern style and ocean view are unparalleled - loved the suite and the little gifts we got every day. Breakfast is very good and with the best view, while the other guests are also quite a vibe. The pool is more of a tub but there are definitely other (many) reasons why a stay is worthwhile here.

An excellent hotel, very beautiful, in a great location in Leblon. They checked us in early, for which we are very grateful to the reception staff. A pleasant pool upstairs, almost deserted, with a fantastic view. The rooms are nice, the toiletries are good, but I don't understand the charge for each coffee capsule, considering it's a five-star hotel.

Small hotel in a nice neighborhood a couple of blocks back from the beach. Small indoor pool, helpful front desk, nice breakfast.  No gym.

Staff were vey helpful We had to wait in the lobby for a ride to the airport for a late flight and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best ‘included’ breakfasts we’ve experienced. Room was good, not great.

The hotel was great. You have the boutique feel of a small city hotel, with quality service and incredibly friendly staff. Room cleaning was efficient, quick and always done without asking. Highly recommended.

The balcony room had a beautiful view and was very spacious. The breakfast options were great and the location is in prime Rio, 5 minutes walking to the beach. Alex at the reception was very welcoming and pleasure in helping us feel at the home during our stay.

Recommended accommodation in an excellent location.

Good hotel with that price. Breakfasts are good but not many options. Furniture is little old.

The hotel rooms are not the cleanest. The tile on the bathroom wall were dirty. And the mattress was a FRIGHT under the flat sheet that is folded. I slept on top of my duvet and felt just fine. The hotel is often used by “content creators”  The hotel is in a great area and walkable to the beach on both sides. It was cheap, so I was happy with everything.

This hotel is very convenient for travelers arriving late or have to wait for family to arrive the next day. The restaurant is great and they have a nice full buffet Brasilian breakfast. I’ve used the hotel several times and will do so again. They also offer a free shuttle from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2

It was abit far from the airport we are going to but still not bad.

Room was near and tidy but lacked any amenities. No kettle or glasses. No filtered water forcing you to buy from the mini bar. The room was quiet but had no view - actually had no windows. Quick and easy stay, a bit pricy but probably worth the convenience

NIcev hotel on the Ipanema beach, very friendly and helpfull staff and an excelenty breakfast overwiatching beach activitie.

Room was tiny (as expected right here on the beach) but spotless. Most of all, the location is incredible, and the staff incredibly helpful. We had many hours after checking out of our room while waiting the airport, and the staff let us continue to use all the hotel amenities, including the incredible pool and view over Copacabana Beach from the sky deck. Six stars out of five!

The location is wonderful, the view is incredible, staff are nice, the only problem is some staff cannot speak English which would be problematic sometimes. In iverall I would highly recommed this hotel to all tourists who want to visitt Rio and prefer to be in safe and nice neighberhood.

It’s nice and comfortable but the towels were rarely replaced and the breakfast wasn’t too good, but overall a solid stay! The employees were also very kind.

This hotel could do better. The pool is closed except during the day which is very annoying. Many rooms have two small single beds and they didn’t tell us until we found out that they could make them into a single queen bed. Special thanks to Philip and Jasmine who work the front desk. Philip helped us get our room earlier than check in time which was great sunce we arrived at 6 a.m. What I didn't like was the inability of English speaking members of staff who worked in key areas. This caused communication issues or misunderstandings. The area felt safe and there are two supermarkets on either side of the hotel

Beautiful little boutique eco friendly hotel. Fantastic staff who go above and beyond to help with every detail. Good value. Our room was a tad small but only managed 2 nights before we moved on across Brasil so it was ok for our needs. Superb breakfast included. Would stay here again if coming to Ipanema again.

Excellent hotel with a strong commitment to ecology. Excellent breakfast menu: choose one combo or two dishes, and unlimited drinks (juice, water, coffee, etc.). The hotel provides complimentary beach towels, and at Ipanema Beach Zone 101, they provide free beach chairs and umbrellas.

I have stay at JW rio I found this hotel is newer, budget friendly and better view compared to JW, the staff gave us a free upgrade which we appreciate a lot. The view was amazing, the location was very convenient, walking distance to one of the shopping mall. The only thing that I’m not satisfied was their breakfast I know it’s not fair to compare it with JW, otherwise I’m very satisfied overall

Very young and recent hotel but of low quality. Not worth the price paid. The best thing about the hotel is the rooftop. We arrived at the place calmly using Waze. Very bad reception. We didn't have a presentation of the place. The receptionist just took us to the suite. She didn't need to be friendly, but at least show us around. The suite (Champagne), even though it is one of the most affordable, should be better looked after. It has its highlight in the bathroom. The location everyone already knows is in the middle of the woods. Very cozy. I went for my husband's birthday. We loved it and are trying to go back for an overnight stay on my birthday, but booking is very difficult. There's never a vacancy. The food is wonderful! Haute cuisine restaurant.

Just two criticisms. My room didn't have cable TV. I called reception to complain. They said they would send an IT technician immediately to fix it. I'm still waiting for that technician... Beautiful hotel with a beachfront location. Breakfast was very good, but there was little variety.

A hotel trying to renovate itself. Until you enter the room and are surprised by the dated facilities, which lack maintenance and renovation. Everything else was fine. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The rooms are a bit dated. In my case, we had to request service for the air conditioning system because it was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. The facilities are fine, and the breakfast is basic but comprehensive. Parking is paid separately from your stay.

This hotel is 10/10 can’t fault one thing, please  don’t read the reviews , located on one of Rio’s best beaches by far better any others near by, no restaurants around hotel but you can get Ubers for very cheap , 10 mins to barra or leblon highly recommend great value for money in Rio
