The hotel is old and poorly maintained. The interior no longer looks like the pictures. The finishes look worn, the cleanliness is poor, the hygiene standards are not respected. The hair dryer did not work, the shower faucet was falling from the wall, the shower tub was clogged, the refrigerator did not cool. At breakfast, the tables were not cleaned. It is located next to a park and provides parking spaces, but for transit, it is located far from the road, in the city. I chose it for one night in transit, based on the ratings, but they weren't real and I don't recommend it.

I booked this hotel 10 days in advance (and even on the day I booked had personal contact with the hotel with some extra questions). On the day we had the reservation, the hotel decided to cancel our booking. We were traveling with a small baby so this was quite a disaster as most other places were sold out. They told us they might be able to book us another place. They suggested one plas that looked awful and had awful reviews (but parking and breakfast would be at their place).. they said "well you're also gonna have to pay more". My husband said that since it's their administrative fault, they should cover the difference. The owner just screamed at him and we were left on the street with a small baby. We had to search for another place and almost nothing was left (even the bad reviewed places were mostly sold out). We in the end stayed somewhere dirty and our baby had to sleep in between us, which is super dangerous. Thanks for ruining our little trip. I've never encountered this big rudeness. The hotel owner of the alternative place has mentioned to us this happens a lot with Andon Angelov so don't book it if you're not flexible. Also, check your bills as they apparently like to add stuff to increase it.
