A really nice hotel with very kind and helpful staff. It is in fact the old Balkantourist hotel built in 1978, according to a commemorative sign, but has been renovated and is very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Apparently, the bathrooms have been renovated very recently. There is a big lobby bar with coffee and drinks, a pool table and darts. The only downside of the hotel is the lack of elevators. Unfortunately the restaurant was not working, being off-season, so I cannot comment on the food, but the complimentary breakfast was more than satisfactory.

I stayed at Melnik Hotel for three days and had a really great experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. They made me feel comfortable right away.
The room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well taken care of during my stay. The hotel has a calm, cozy atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a long day.
The location is very convenient, close to local attractions but still quiet and peaceful. The surrounding views are beautiful and definitely add to the experience.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Melnik Hotel. The service, comfort, and atmosphere were excellent, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great hotel - keep the balance between traditional and modern. At the city center of Melnik sith great view. The staff is really friendly and helpful. There is SPA and free parking. The restourant next to the hotel is also nice and is a wonderful for a quick getaway from our busy everyday life. We will come back soon

Location is above the city. Nice view. Room clean and big. Coffee machine in room. Hot tup. That is all possitive.
Negative - hight price for what you get. Hot tup not working and falling apart parts. No sugar for the coffee, no tee. Pillows over used and not comfortable. No staff after 8 p.m. No breakfast included. No restaurant available - they said "changed owner of restaurant" and the receptionst have no idea if there is breakfast available and what kind.
It seems bad hotel management and not enough staff. Prices are not corresponding to quality.
Check other places and have this one as last option.

Hotel Melnik is one of the finest lodgings in the historic city of culture and wine, nestled on my way to Greece and visiting the nearby Rozhnen Monastery every time I visit the Orthodox monastery.
The dinner and rich breakfast are extremely satisfying. The kind service of the skilled staff is commendable. I have already stayed about 10 times. It is pleasant to stay with my family or many colleagues.
It proves a place clean and warm enough for many swallows to build a nest and raise their own offspring. Swallows in the morning and evening Try to enjoy the flight and dance.

We used only the restaurant, the food was okay, service was great. Didn't like the Kachamak. Don't try it.

Great authentic hotel with a spectacular view of the town of Melnik. Everything was clean and tidy. The restaurant inside was very good as well, including the service. All for a very reasonable price. Couldn't recommend it more.
